How many of you guys and gals would be totally upset and pissed if the Redskins finished the season with a 8-8 record or worst.
Vent your arguments.

Considering the money spent in the offseason, a repeat of last year's performance could be considered nothing but a massive failure and disappointment.

Agree Tom, utter failure and time to bring in a GM and get Snyder oru of decisions. In fact, i see this season as a referendum on the Snyder/Spurrier experiement.

8 - 8 or worse would be very bad, IMO. This team needs to show significant improvment, and by that I mean 10-6 or better. We have continuity in the coaching department. Last years young players are a year older, better, smarter. Ramsey is lightyears ahead of where he was last year at this time (wasn't even signed yet last year as I recall)
We have a legitimate #1 WR. Rod Gardner should be better as a true #2 picking up those underneath catches.
The O line is vastly improved. The QB should actually be able to step up in the pocket and throw the ball.
The defense is not learning another new system. LaVar is confident. Terrell is playing like a starter. Fred is healthy.
If we regress (8-8 would be regressing IMO), then I will have a nervous breakdown.

Definitely would be frustrating. Right now it would seem like a major letdown after all the upgrades and prep time. Everything is about circumstances though. Maybe someone gets injured. Maybe our ridiculously tough schedule cripples us early and we wind up 8-8 again. Anything is possible in the NFL. Any which way, I'll be pontificating in a similar fashion next season at this time.

Ask any sports writer and 8-8 will be their prediction.

If this team makes it to the bye week with a .500 or above record, they'll deserve medals! The past two Superbowl Champions, five of seven against playoff teams, another in Buffalo, many's pick for most improved team in the league. In those seven weeks, maybe the weakest team we face (The Jets) has a major bone to pick with us and will be very motivated.

If they do not better then 8-8 then somehting is wrong..this team spent a ton of money. Hope its not because of a crappy DL.

I'd be pissed... but things do happen. Even with all the wildcards that Hail mentioned, i still see the team better than .500- it just seems like a healthier team all around.... in terms of attitude.
If it doesn't work out... wow... can we go back to the drawing board again? ouch

As I see all of us would be dissappointed of an 8-8 or worst record. As someone said, that is about where most experts think we will finish.

I am saying 8-8 is our record but that is so I don't get my hopes to high :D Our 2 biggest question marks are a very unsettled Defensive line and a 2nd year QB. If these 2 things work out for the good then we can do much better than 8-8 but if they don't....

8 - 8 or worse?
My disappointment would be beyond words.

8-8 would be terrible. We worked to hard to still be average. Anything less than the playoffs and I'm gonna be pissed. If we go out in the first round, I'll be upset, but at least we made the playoffs.

8-8 would make me dissapointed, but not devastated.
MY 3 yr plan....
1. Hire Spurrier and draft the qb of the future
2. Upgrade OL, WR, and add speed for the offense
3. Focus on the DL ( tackles & ends).....super bowl!!!!

yeah, the first step is to get back to respectability, the season after that, we should be serious SB contenders
