And the Vikins, Rams, and Eagles #6,7, and 8 all time best but none of those 3 are in the top current best ones? And the Raiders in the top 8 current best and in the top 7 worst all time ones?

I remember when the 'Allen' helmet was new and it took some gettin used to. (I dug the stylized 'R' with the feather). Still looks great to me...the current helmet. I associate the Superbowls with it and I want more Superbowls with it.

Techincally, #4 here was only used in the 1982 Strike shortened season.

4 is my favorite b/c i grew up with it and ir reminds me of the best sports years of my life. once gibbs retires, i would not mind at all if we switched back to #3... but i wan him to get one more super bowl with the current helmet.

#1 is sick, thats the first time I seen that. But I got to go with number 2, the yellow is hot.

I believe we stole it from Green Bay. When Lombardi became coach, he redesigned the uniform. It looked a lot like Green Bay's uniform with Redskins colors.

That polls a little wierd. The raiders were on the best curent and the worst all time...and 3 of the best all time are still current but not on the list, lol. either way, I choose 3.

The Spear helmet is my favorite. I'd love to see it come back sooner than later. Unfortunately, everytime I see the helmet, for some reason I think of Mathews and Woefull. Need to get them out of my head....

I also like the current one...as well as the yellow "R" helmet.

I guess you could say I like them all except for the Big feather going down the top....

Well both teams have changed their helmets. Both teams used to wear White helmets originally. The rams with Blue Horns and the Iggles with the Green Bird and Green Center stripe. Neither team is wearing its original helmet exactly.

Well, it may be that if you look at it it really doesn't make any sense for the feather to have that shape..it looks kinda like it's glued on to the circle..the non tucked one looks much more natural IMO..

My vote is the Burgandy Spear helmet. Must agree it is the best of all-time. I think it would look great with our current uniform.

I like the Indian Head logo, so my vote goes for that helmet. However, if we could take that logo and put it on a darker helmet, like the #3 or #1, that would be ideal.

A distant second for me is the spear helmet, #3.

The tucked one has some amazing memories, but if for no other reason, that is why it should never be used again. The spear is my least favorite, followed by the "R" helmet. :beer: The "Throw-Back" 1937 Uniform equals my ALL-TIME Favorite. I would only mandate the Helmet Color to be Dark-Maroon, like the Jersey & Leggings, and with the 1937 'Indian-Head' Logo affixed to each side of the Helmet; and, the 1937 'Indian-Head' Jersey Logos to both Face-Forward.

:whoknows: Also: the 1965-1969 'Spear-Head' Helmet Logo could be substituted for the 1937 'Indian-Head'; as the 1965-1969 Helmet is the Most Beautiful.

Also: the Current 'Indian-Head' Logo & Helmet are "Outta-Sight", as well. I just prefer Dark-Maroon & Old-Gold to the Current (Lighter-Shade of) Burgundy & Gold (Yellow).

The 1937 (or, NFL 75th Anniversary) Uniforms are, incidentally, the Same Uniforms Worn by the Legendary "Slingin'-Sammy' Baugh).

The Redskins 70th Anniversary "Throw-Back" Uniforms are "Da'-Bomb", too.

I'm a big fan of the spear helmet altough I too grew up with the current helmet I just like the simplistic design and the deep burgandy of the spear helmet. That being said, the current helmet (with or without the tucked feather) stirs up a lot of fond childhood/teenage memories.

I like it because it is more spacially appealing on the helmet. Logos looks better when the are closer to geometric shapes, IMO. That being said, I wish they would bring back the spear and feather or lose the feathers on the current logo altogether. Either way, I want the retro unis back with a few less stripes. Lose the white stripe on the gold pants and lose white stripes on the jersey. Uniforms should be Spartan with grey facemasks, to represent our sheer indifference to the opponents suffering.

I love our modern day indian head with the war drums. I really love the 3 stripes. I use to want them to change when we did the 2002 old spear helmets. But, I like the indian head better.

I would love to see the feather helmet 59-64 make a comeback for some games. I like those uniforms.

The 3 stripes kinda reminds me of the feather going up the back of the helmet. In a round about way.
