Morton hurt his shoulder?

I just read Morton missed yesterdays practice because of a shoulder injury...any have more news on this?

That is what preseason is for, lets see what we got in the youngins this week and start getting the rest some time in the next 2 games

This is exactly why I think we need to keep all 4 RB's, Morton was brought in here to return Punts and Kickoffs. He was hurt running plays on offense, I for one don't want to see Champ back there mis firing on the punt returns. We have two backs that we know have potential and the other is trying to find his way. Let's keep Mortons focus on the return game and let the horse's pull the wagon...

If we do that he will be pissed off beyond words..the main reason he wanted to come here is because he was promised a shot at being a RB.

I agree, we payed him the big bucks and he was happy to come cause he thought he would line up in the backfield as a 3rd down or change of pace back. He can contribute offensively in some form other than return man, I saw a practice last week when I was in town and he looked good.
