I haven't seen this posted anywhere. Pro Football talk (of all places) has an ad linking to Adam Archuleta's workout video called "Freak of Training." Here's the link: http://www.protectmanagement.com/video/freak.htm
Freak of Training Adam Archuleta was't going to let his size or speed hold him back. With lofty aspirations of one day starring in the National Football League, Adam knew that his scrawny physique would never get him there. He had to make himself stronger, faster and more explosive. With an intense fire and fury, The Freak of Training became a legend - elevating himself from an undersized college walk-on to a First-Round draft selection in the National Football League.
This workout video introduces you to Adam's unique training program and how he, with the help of his trainer Jay Schroeder, did it. As you master these beginning exercises, you too will realize dramatic improvements in
strength, speed and explosiveness and be on your way to reaching your ultimate athletic potential!
"I wasn't born with anything. I had natural abilities but Jay's techniques truly brought the potential out."
Adam Archuleta, Safety St. Louis Rams

Jay Schroeder... ?
That's either a Freudian slip or, as Kosmo Kramer would say, a weird coincidence.

The video is nothing special. They bill it as an instructional on some websites, but it's nothing but a video showing Adam doing the exercises. Gives no program, no technical details of the exercises, nothing useful. That is to my knowledge at least. I've not seen it personally, but I've heard from many who've bought it.

Well, I was wondering if their was any connection between our former quarterback and the FreakMasta. Guess not.

Tough words for something you've never seen.
The guy was a legend at ASU for his workout regimen, I'd think it was worth looking at.

I had heard that Archuleta was working out on his own in California. Looks like he has now joined the team at Redskins Park. Good news.

According to folks on one of the Rams chat boards, they aren't sad to see Adam go. They were dismayed that he got the deal that he did since they claim he has average speed and cover ability, and his career, they say, has been punctuated by a nagging shoulder injury.

I was beginning to wonder when *this* AA thread was going to turn into one about his girlfriend!

How was that "tough"? All I said is that the video isn't what it is usually (or at least used to be) promoted as. It isn't a video teaching you how to workout like Adam. It's a video showing him workout. A waste of money if you are hoping it would serve a practical purpose. If you want to get a glimpse of what he does and you are willing to pay that much for it, it's supposedly an interesting video as Schroeder is very secretive about his program. Nothing revolutionary. It's similar to what Inno-Sport does.

That thing he did with the bench was incredible...he dropped what looked like 225 pounds and then caught it.....that's rediculous.

here is a link to the video I posted in another archuleta thread.
It is pre draft. They show alot of his workout regimen and talk about how he went from a scrawny guy to walk on to "possible" first round pick

I had a dream last night that Adam Archuleta came to my house and started training me. It was because of this thread. I've never seen the video of him working out, but he was pretty ruthless in my dream. He had all this weird food he'd eat, too (in the dream). It just goes to show that hailredskins.com is so important that even my dreams have to listen.
