Why do they have a website when 90% of the content is for members only? I sent them an e-mail to complain. Here it is:

Dear ESPN,

Thanks for having such a wonderful website. I have never read a better website. Each and every one of your writers is a..........want to see the rest of this e-mail? If so join Read Dave's Frickin E-mail Club for only $8.99 per month!!

Very creative. My friend has an account, I stole his password. So I can't complain. He also canceled that account over a year ago, but the password still works...so again, no complaints.

ESPN.com is poorly laid out, that site is a web designers nightmare...

...and I agree about the content, its rediculous how much of it is "insider only" crap - same thing is happening to sportsline, now I mainly stick to SI.com

Dude, I absolutely agree. They even advertise it on the radio shows...download the podcast if you missed anything, by being a member...blah blah blah. It has turned out to be the worst sports site out there. I use foxsports.com or yahoo for that reason.

Nice, Dave. I absolutely agree. It's a pain to read that website, and all the content is for members. I can get basic news just about anywhere, ESPN.com brings nothing to the table.

Half the time, they have this huge ad that comes up, and there is no way to close it. Pisses me off.
