I kinda like this...Sportstalk 980 is a joke sometimes other than the John Thompson show...many times those guys rant and rant about joe and danny ...and that kornhieser is horrible..I'd rather hear Collen Cowheard....I sure hope danny sticks 980 steve and andy really get on my nerves sometimes.

oh joe come on ... they are idiots but sometimes they are entertaining ... you gotta love local sportsradio guys just cuz they are homers... the JT show is my favorite part of their lineup too

Joe, Tony is the station's bread and butter. So much so that they choose to replay his show instead of playing Cowherd. They are in big trouble losing Dan Patrick though. Maybe if they played the full Mike and Mike and Dan Patrick shows they wouldn't have lost the ESPN lineup.

I like Tony's show, although it has almost nothing to do with sports. JT's show is also really good. As for Steve and Andy... I stopped taking them seriously when they said Lavar was jealous of Marcus Washington because MW is the middle linebacker.

Does this mean the local radio is going to turn into Redskins.com and Extremeskins? With Snyder owning the station you know there won't be any Redskins bashing or anyone critical of Snyder if they value their jobs.

Thats what I don't like. Snyder is clearly trying to intimidate or co-opt the local Redskins coverage and this can't be good for the fans. What's going to happen if Snyder gets caught breaking the rules, are we going to have to wait until the national media reports it? But then the Skins will whine that its "biased reporting or something".
