He wouldnt be a bad 3rd down guy.We wouldnt need him to start just for depth.

Too old and expensive. Not enough talent remaining. Pass.

why not sign him for a minimal salary? he still has to have something in the tank, could be useful on 3rd downs hes a good blitzing lb or rush end

Hey, if it didn't cost very much, bring him into Camp and see what he's got from there. Maybe he has another good year or two left in him - under the right coordinator - which we most CERTAINLY have!

Those types always seem to find a place in Oakland too.

I would agree with the Bruce Smith comparison, however I am in favor of depth on the D-Line. If we could get him at a reasonable price, I'm sure GW could find a valuable place for him.

He is 31 or 32 thats far from old.Expensive???? nobody knows what he is asking for so how can we say expensive.I havent heard ANY news on what he is asking for.And with it being this late in free agency he wont be able to sign a large lucrative deal anyway. We dont need a star just depth.

He's only 31, but he also has taken a real beating over the years. His body is older than his age. True, I do not know what his asking price is, but I imagine that he values his abilities as worth more than the league vet minimum, which is practically all he is worth at this point. I agree, we don't need a star at this point, but we don't need any tired vets looking to finish out their careers.

if we didn't do that with lavar we're not gonna do it with boulware. He's 1 dimensional and hasnt looked the same since he got injured a couple of seasons ago.

Well Boulware wouldnt be making anywhere near what Lavar was making.Of course it didnt make sense with Lavar because he was making what like 8million a year.:banghead:

Well, the comment wouldn't be made if the Cowgirls didn't bring it on themselves. They've signed a few washed up players every offseason since Bill Parcels arrived in Dallas. At least Danny learned his lesson after one failed attempt, but this is the fourth straight offseason that BP or Jerry Jones or whoever runs the ship has signed at least one washed up bum with the expectation that they'd sure up a critical need.

the difference being that parcells brings in his own washed up bums for the most part, while the skins used to bring in everybody else's washed up bums..LOL

Hey ISF, is your sig comment "scientific"? Cuz I REALLY like that explanation. If there is any truth to that I intend to give Wade Boggs, Darrin Daulton, Leonard Little, and Eric Warfield a serious run for their money. Of course, we are still light years away from AKH's level:lol1:

With all of this negative talk about Boulware being washed up, you would think that we had a young Charles Mann and Reggie White as our defensive ends. I love the addition of Carter, and Daniels can still be a force, but pass rush from the ends has been our achilles heel for years and years.

At the right price, anything we can do to bolster our pass rush is a positive move, IMO.
