After holding a press conference about rising pas prices at a local gas station in Washington, D.C., House Speaker Dennis Hastert [R-IL] was photographed several blocks away getting out of the hybrid automobile he used at the event and getting back into his gasoline-powered SUV.

Right now, Hastert is probably wondering how he got caught. It's just a guess, but I thinking the fact that Hastert looks like he ate the entire Georgia House delegtion for breakfast this morning might have had something to do with it.

Gee a photo op? I never would have guessed.

Seriously I am sure they needed to get into their suvs so they could get back into the capitol, however if they were actually at work crafting real legislation about this very issue instead of doing a fake, empty gesture of a photo op this would never be a story now would it?
