This was a link on the Post site. I just hope BDW realizes now he's not worth close to the money wanted.

No team is willing to give him more then a million this next year... yet he was slated to make 2 million next year with us restructuring him (not to mention the bonuses)... stupid move by him if you ask me...

What I'll find interesting is IF he accepts a contract for less money than what was offered to him here. Last Tuesday, he was interviewed by John Thompson & Doc Walker and there seems to be some issues other than money. Really a shame too, because if he were healthy this year (and he stated he was 100 %now), I think he would have had a very good season.

Your right Patrick. I dont see him coming back here anyway, it woudl be like groveling and i think his pride will step int he way.

I'm sure he has a lot of pride being a former #1, but I think his pride is just silly now. He obviously has not lived up to his hype and I'm sure he knows that, but come on BD, why don't you just be happy where you are and work hard for once?

The article said-New England might be interested after they review thier preseason game against the Giants. Well thier D-line looked pretty stout. Either that or the Giants' O-line sucks, one could only hope! Big Dan might have to accept Detroit's $750k offer. Oops!

Exactly!!!! AND BD, if you would have stayed and met or exceeded yours (and our's) exceptations, you wouldn't have lost a dime!!!!!!!!!!.

I think that decision also shows a bad agent.

Oh, it's obviously Dan dring the bus. That's why his origional agent was fired. That's why he is the one making statements...

Yep, the article I read was that he was trying to fire his agent the Friday before he was jetisoned.

I believe he brought all of this on himself. He should have looked at the league to figure out if he would have had anywhere to go, if anyone was in a position to pay him more money then the Skins and if the move would be worth it long term. Greed and ego! Plain and simple.
