That's at the Giants front page, on their website from NFL.COM. I thought it was odd that both of these guys (Manning and Coughlin) are with Spurrier. Makes for strange bedfellows, considering he was our former head coach, and the Giants are our divisional opponents. Think this is a Taylor Jacobs thing or good ole southern boys conversing with the Yankee (Coughlin)?
If I am Joe Gibbs and Al Saunders, I unload T. Jacobs NOW!!! BEFORE he learns the passing system and then snitch, like A. Pierce did!

IT's at www.giants.com
it's page 5 0f 5 among the "slide" pictures starting on their homepage
I forgot to mention, that he could be in town with the timing of Ramsey being in NY for the Jets. Since Ramsey's a vet, maybe he's there to see him this week.

I would not be surprised to see Jacobs goto the Giants if released, they are hurting for depth at WR.

Interesting. I didn't see that when I went out there... I'm not worried though. The great teams under Gibbs never won by surprising their opponents but rather by executing to perfection.

You remember that blurb on SI.com about Redskins fans being paraniod, I think this is a good example of it. I have no idea where or how Taylor Jacobs came into the picture. Spurrier is about as loyal as I am german (i'm not german by the way). I think this is nothing more than a publicity photo shoot.

Steve Spurrier and Archie Manning (who went to Ol Miss '68-70) are good friends that go way back.

Beat me to it. He had Archie and Peyton speak to his qbs last year.

Spurrier still looks a bit lost in that picture. I really believe it's in his best options to completely remove himself from all nfl interactions.

Don't be so hard Dave, you're not a Joke! (JK!)
You'll like this: They make it sound like Archie is Romeo and the NFL is Juliet- What a Tragedy!
The star crossed NFL star: Not blessed with any talent around him, the No. 2 pick in the 1971 NFL draft spent 14 years with New Orleans, Houston and Minnesota throwing for 125 touchdowns and 173 interceptions playing on miserably bad teams. Few quarterbacks were as beaten and battered as Manning was behind some of the worst offensive lines the NFL has ever seen. http://www.collegefootballnews.com/Top_100_Players/Top_100_Players_18_Archie_Manning.htm

no manning (archie, cooper, peyton, eli) has EVER won a championship at the state, college, or pro level. not even a college conference championship (it was T martin that finally beat florida)...

Nothin wrong with a little geometry now and then.
Here's a Newton Bisector:
Archie Manning had 125 TD's and 173 int in his NFL career, and he only ever had one season with more TD's than ints (1978 17 TD 16 int) he made the probowl that year. He made the probowl the following year too with 15 TD's and 20 int and fumbled 6 times, and had a passer rating of 75.6.
(BTW) Doug Flutie NFL stat 86 TD 68 ints. Only ever had two seasons w/ more ints than TDs...typed in Flutie size:)
