How good was the Jets' defense last year? I didn't pay heavy attention to their defense for most of the season, so I'm at a bit of a loss now. Rush D? Pass D? Any big holes?

Last year our D stunk early on, we started 1-4 and from Games 2-4 we were outscored 102-13. We had 6 new starters plus our 2 best players were hurt(Abraham & Cowart- neither was completly healthy at any point during last year) but around Game 6 they really got it going, In the entire 2nd half of the season they gave up 1 4th qtr TD and that was in garbage time in a blowout over GB.

This year the D should be much better. W/ the addition of rookie dewayne Robertson and Chester McGlockton we finally have some beef up front which should allow for a healthy John Abraham to be freer- he'll have 15+ sacks this year. At LB both Mo lewis & Sam Cowart are healthy and looking much quicker this year, our Lbs are older but they should be better this year especially w/ DRob & co. taking on blockers so they can be free. In the secondary we have 3/4 of our starters back and our FS is Jon McGraw who is in his 2nd year and will be a big upgrade over the departed Damien Robinson. We also get a great Dime back and STer back from injury in Jamie henderson.
