Where should we begin class?

1.) Dropped passes. Simply inexcusable regardless of the time of the year. These are professional football players with expensive grip gloves on. Take the gloves off and see if that helps.

2.) Barker seems to have not improved much from last year, which is awful.

3.) The D looked unprepared to play and tentative, but as I mentioned earlier LaVar said during a sideline interview that they didn't show absolutely anything for this game by design. I didn't see any blitzing with the first teamers, so maybe he was telling the truth. Still, the lack of a push from the D-line was terrible, but I also grant the fact that Upshaw and Smith sat out the game.

4.) ST's still could do a better job opening up lanes. Morton can't do it alone.

5.) Michael Jackson should be entrenched at the #3 QB position for right now.

You know what I noticed about our return men, Morton not included, is that they didn't hit the wholes. If there were any. But still, you don't tip toe till you get hit. You have to have vision and make adjustments. Why can't these guys do that. Thats what seperated B. Mitchell from the others. Great vision and able to make the correct decision early enough to use it to his benefit.

The friggen Kicking game is going to kill us once again. We sure did miss Hall tonight.

I agree Mike. They are timid when approaching the wall, which I don't understand why they run into it when it looks to be closed.

How about penalties!!! I lost count of the holding calls.

At least they have enough bad flim to watch and fix before New England comes to town next week.

Exactly. I was thinking of the kids movie "A bugs life", I think that the one.....

Where the bug sees the light and knows that it will hurt him if he touches it, but he can't help but going to it. "But its so beutiful..." lol

They continued to run right into the wall. Is Stock that bad of a coach or just the players?

I noticed that most penalties came against the 2nd and 3rd stringers.

And how about the two missed blocks from the back on the first punt? Even the two jerks for the Panthers said that the Panther got away with clipping our guys.

may i add that the first touchdown that the panthers scored did not look like a TD to me. the guy wasnt even close. even my mom was wondering why they were kicking a PAT. is it just me that didnt think they scored?

Lady, I was thinking the same thing. I couldn't figure out why Spurrier didn't challenge the call. It looked like he was a good half yard short of a TD.

I was yelling for them to challenge, but it didn't do any good...

Yea but the way our d-line was stopping the run, it would not have mattered anyway

I don't know Jeff. The one place our line played decent was in the redzone and inside the 5 yard line...

You are right but why the crap is that. Why wait to play until it is too late. Remnds way too much of Mike Nolan, or Lynn or (insert any DC of the last 10 years)...

Jeff, you beat me to punch. Mike Nolan came to mind for me too.

His "bend but don't break" mentality drove me crazy!

It was a TD because the RB (was it Hicks?) got the ball over the line before he fell. As he fell, he pulled his arm back to help break his fall, and the ball was short of the goal line again. At first I thought it wasn't a TD either, but I looked at that replay real closely.

I don't know about Barker. He had that godawful 26 yard punt, but on the other hand his first punt was nice and he managed to pin Carolina inside their own 10 with another.

Our D-line scares me more than ever now.

The dropped catches caused me to scream at the TV at least five times....

Yea Barker had a 53 yarder and dropped one around the 5 yard lne so 2 of the frst 3 wre decent

another negative is that we looked so bad, that i want them to play another game tomorrow to make up for that pathetic performance. now they are leaving us to talk about that sorry excuse for a football game.
