the skins were TERRIBLE! so terrible, it was laughable. all 3 phases of the game were horrible. we had some key players missing, but damn! the only highlight was the bomb to coles and if he wouldve had kept balance, he woulda scored. guys need to catch for Ram. he wouldve been 5-6 if guys were catching like they have been in practice. the O Line need some more time together. the D line needs HELP! no push up the middle whatsoever! the pass rush on the outside wasnt bad. guys were tackling. davis ran over and thru us.i bet he is laughing right now. if we are going to rest hall for a while, we need a new kicker. matt simonton, the waterboy, cant even kick a 35 yarder. at least we couldve had 3 points. rob johnson wasnt too bad. he was running for his life all game. i think he has the #2 job as of now. danny wuerffel still sucks.

overall, the starters werent in the game as long as the panthers starters were, but when they were in the game, they didnt look good at all. thank god its pre-season and the more they mess up, the more they can correct in practice. bottom line is, this team has a lot of work to do.......

On the positive side, Spurrier had enough sense to pull Ramsey out early (earlier then he said he was) after realizing we couldn't stop the Panther def. saved him from getting injured...

(Hubbo's Buffalo Bills won their game against Baltimore, yea!!)

I didn't think our 1st string OL played badly. Atleast not in passing situations. We ran a very bland offense tonight with Ramsey at the helm. It'll get better.

they werent bad, but they werent good either. i understand that they have to gel together and all, but at times they looked lost. along with the rest of the team.

this is not a well coached team............. there is more pressure on ss then there is on ramsey this year!!!! we need dl help badly... bring back big daddy????

Damn, I thought I would read better reports. This doesn't sound good but it's still the first game though.

Besides the dropped passes, the lack of run stopping in the middle early on and the poor special teams, the whole team just looked...slow! They just didn't looked prepared. The defense played pretty well in goal - line situations, but gave up big plays to get there. The Skins still have some trouble with time management. There were a couple of timeouts called just because they were not ready. Why not!

Taylor Jacobs I thought looked pretty good, and as far as I can tell Robert Royal should start. Sultan McCullough had some good runs also. The Redskins should be very busy this week in Ashburn.

It was even worse in person. Man I felt soo ashamed and helpless in that stadium with all my Skins garb on.
