we have a different color of helmet tonight? I seem to remember that it used to be a darker colour of burgandy. This helmet seemed be a metalic burgandy. Looked way better than the dull helmets.

Did anyone else notice it?

Maybe you're just used to the throwback helmets.

Yes I did Mike. They were clearly darker then the helmets of the past, and I too thought that they sparkled. I thought it was just me.

Carmike, I agree we had this discussion at camp, while getting Brandon Noble's autograph he had his helmet and it is definitely a new color a deep metalic burgandy not the regular burgandy. If you have the new yearbook you can see the difference in the pictures from this year and last year. Also it was great to meet everyone at FAD, I was the big guy with WRSK1NS it was the most fun part of the whole day.

Personally, I like the new colour or the helmets.

Thanks guys I have to admit this is a lot of fun, Ill have to move the tv near my computer so I will not have to run back and forth during the games this season.

I noticed the Metallic Burgandy also. The funny thing is now, the Helmets look a little darker than the uniforms. I like it though.

Get rid of the white pants...Please!

Oh yeah...One more thing. What was the the little patch on the jersey? It looked like: GSS or SGS whatever that is, and at the bottom it had Hail to the Redskins. What was that?

GSS was a tribute to Gerald Snyder.

I think Kenny was correct last night when he said it probably has to do with Snyders father who passed away earlier.

kenny was right sonny pointed it out near the end of the game that it was in tribute to gerald snyder and they will be wearing it all year.
