Some notes

I was taking notes to make a post about tonights game and here are the good ones I got...

1. Ken Harvey is on the announce team

2 Sonny is funny sometimes

now for the bad ones
George Michael will never get names right ever so why even try. The Pantheres drafted tackle is not Jordan Cross. He wanted to say our kicker was a lifeguard but he called him a FG kicker instead.

We could not stop a herd of walker usiing grandmas on first down, even if they fell down tehy could get back up before the defense got there.

Smoot may be bigger and stronger but he tackles lke a wimpy girl, same with Terrell. Lott and Bowen should be the starters.

Haley flew right over the QB on a missed sack.

I think the kicker got cut at halftime.

We need some beef at DT and would be willing to bring back Big Daddy cause this group of little daddies are not going to work

Trung looked very poor tonight , not sure if it was him or the line probably both

Bryon Johnson might have given Rock a chance to start

As Flem might have given Royal the job. I see flem not making this team

LaVar is still prone to over running plays, but I can live with that ... I think

Even the 47 yarder to Coles was not a great throw, if it woiuld have been closer to Coles he would have scored but he made a very nice catch


Do we have to audible on every freakin play? Is this offense too complex to work in the NFL? I hope not

Flem dropped 4th and 1 pass right in his hands...bye bye Flem

Rob Johnson actually threw the ball away..OMG

That audible thing bugged me, but hey, that's what Peyton Manning does and we'd all be happy to have a Colts-like offense.

It seems that when we audible all it does is leave 2 seconds on the play clock and the defense get a jump on us

Spurrier needs to get the play in quicker so our QBs have enough time to audible, if need be. He talked about that last year. But, never the less, it hasn't been fixed.

Some of that might have been that Hue Jackson was calling plays for a while tonihgt

What bugged me was that the 3 drops passes were thrown in the wrong place, right in the hands

Yeah, that bugged me also. Maybe Ramsey should throw it at their feet the next time instead of hitting them in stride where the ball should be.

Am I the only one to notice that Ade Jimoh (#37) was playing pretty good at corner? I know that I'm NOT the only person that thinks that George & Sonny have to be THE WORST COMMENTATORS THAT I HAVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE. Ken Harvey didn't add much either (sorry Skins57). :confused:

I also thought Jimoh played well. As far as Harvey goes, he might not be the best commentar but I liked the fact he doesn't mind getting on the players alot. Sonny is decent but Michaels he just sucks.

one lone funny note about michaels was when he made the comment, " he drops back,..... signs a couple of autographs,........ orders a pizza...... and still has time to deliver the ball". BTW skins57 i knew you would be excited when they said Harvey was commentating. Did you also catch him saying he may need to get down there and help???

Yea I caught that, he might be in good enough shape to play too. Heck of a third down pass rusher he might be too. Kinda hard to annouce from the field though :D :D
