Emmitt had 1 carry for 0 yrds and 1 catch for 11 yards. Also I see hte Cards have Tim Duncan trying out for kicker :D

Yeah, but they were not playing Carolina........they were playing THE CARDINALS........and got 13 dropped on them........which is worse:D :D !!!!!!!!!!

Also take into account that 7 of the 20 were IMO a gift, we had 6/7 taken away on a holding call, and another 6/7 lost because Coles lost his footing. There were some positives from last night. Few, but some.

Good points Kenny. I agree 100% Plus Trotter, Upshaw, Bruce Smith, Rashad Bauman, etc., key componets to our D, didn't play. At Half-Time, the score was only 6-0 (and should have been 7-6 in our favor). Not much else to feel good about, except maybe:

* Seeing LaDarius Jackson running around out there.
* Seeing (finally) Cliff Russell out there making plays.
* Seeing rookie Taylor Jacobs make his first catch.
* Seeing the surprising play of Sultan McCollough.

Other than that......a pretty depressing game.

Yes, I was impressed by McCollough, Russell, Cloman, and some other individuals, but that does little to squash the overall skepticism. The Skins must play better vs. NE. Confidence is half the battle. Especially with key components of this team being young/inexperienced, the team must put it together and keep it together far before Sept 4.

AGREE - and I'm positive they will. This IS a better team than last years regardless of what other may think. This week's may not be much different than last though. BUT if the only thing that improves is catching the ball and stopping the penlities I'll be pleased. It's going to take alittle more effort on Defense too.
