Would you prefer that Edwards move Wynn to DT? He is adaquete (not spectacular) at DT (I guess the same could be said about him at DE), and he is already on our our roster, meaning no trade (draft picks) would be needed to acquire him.
I think that it may be best, but the drawback is that means that we will rely on Smith to start, which I don't think that we want.
Also, I must remind all of you that it was just the first preseason game (our new rallying cry at hR!:D ), so maybe this proposed move on my part is premature.

I suppose it would be worth a try. I don't think I've ever seen Wynn play DT. Didn't follow him before he joined the Skins so I don't know how much experience he has.
At the same time, I wouldn't mind trading one of our RBs and DP for a DT....

Does anyone really know how good he'd be there? Would it be an improvement over Haley?

I have heard that he was solid, not spectacular. He himself said that he would be up for the move if it would help the team, so his attitude about it is positive.

He played it in passing situations last year instead of Big Daddy. He did a passable job playing hurt all season. But I think that we'd be just was well off sticking with Haley because I don't think that Smith can get it done as a 3 down player any more Zellner maybe but Smith no. I think that I'd rather a. Move Wynn inside or b. Just keep Haley there and keep our draft picks.

My thing is, unless it's a 4th or higher pick, I'm not to keen on giving up one for someone that may not be here beyond this year, or someone that's up in age with not a whole lot left in the tank.

detroit would be willing to trade Shaun Rogers for a 3rd rounder.
