Saturday night I'm going to my first ever game...here are the directions I got from mapquest...I don't want to get lost like I did trying to get to camp so anyone that knows how to get there please verify these directions...
I know how to get to 270, so I'll start from there...
: Merge onto I-270 S via exit number 53 toward WASHINGTON. 32.68 miles
8: I-270 S becomes CAPITAL BELTWAY/ I-495 E. 18.65 miles
9: Merge onto MD-202 W/ LANDOVER RD via exit number 17B toward BLADENSBURG. 1.57 miles
10: Take the MD-704 S ramp toward SEAT PLEASANT. 0.27 miles
11: Merge onto MARTIN LUTHER KING JR HWY/ MD-704 W. 0.60 miles
12: Turn RIGHT onto FLAGSTAFF ST.
Will it be easy to find once I get to flagstaff st? that is where the directions end...
These are from Redskins.com, they end on Arena dr...
Montgomery and Howard Counties
495/I-95 South to I-95 Exit 17A (Landover Rd. East), turn right on Lottsford Rd. Follow to Arena Drive.
I have a green parking pass, so I have to get to a green lot, are they easy to find? (I see that there seem to be many green lots)..

Pick up from #9:
After you take the first rte202 (Landover Rd.) exit immediately shoot over to your far left lane. You will want to turn left at the first light. The stadium will then be right in front of you. The green lost aren't hard to miss, and the attendants will guide you to them if you look lost.

OMT, totally ignore those directions from redskins.com that you printed unless you have to pay cash to park. Those directions take you away from the stadium and into the cash lots.

Thanks...I'm leaving my house at 4 or 5PM incase I get lost...do you think that will be adequate time? It takes me a little over an hour to get to Rockville.

B, I would leave at 4pm to account for traffic.

I find Exit16 (Arena Dr) to be alot easier to get into the parking lots (green or orange). That light at Brightseat (Redskin Dr.) Rd. can be a real pain. If your there 2 hours before the game (before 6:00) , Arena Drive is pretty smooth and fast. IMO

Also, watch your speed on 270 around Gaithersburg/Rockville, the Police troll that area religiously

Which is the better parking lot- Green or Orange? I have a parking pass for the green section for the Opener.

for those of you who havent been to fedex, just a warning....if you sit at the very top in the 400s section, beware of moths, especially where the lights are (of course). those things are no joke! at the pats/skins game on saturday night, everyone was swatting at those things. even the punter, had an encounter with a moth during punt. btw, i got there at 6pm and got a close up of the players warming up. i also saw tony mcgee and i asked him when his show was coming back on. he told me that redskins magazine will be back on on sept 5 @ 10:30pm for those that watch it.

I think the moths may have been a result of all the rain before the game.
