20-zip....makes our little outing seem a little more tolerable. Seriously if this is a sign for either of our teams we are in trouble. I was lured into a false since of hope last week withour scrimage with the Texans. Then the fiasco from Saturday just blew that out of the water. At least our D looks strong.:banghead:

A lot of work for both teams. But, 20-0 and 13-0 isn't that much difference. Plus, we had a TD called back and if we had had a FG kicker instead of a life guard, it very well could have been 20-10. A loss is a loss though.

And lets not forget a WR who IF he hadn't loss his balance would have scored.

I still can't find the positives you guys are finding..if not for some weird playcalling by Panthers it would have been 35-0 the way the panthers were playing. I have no idea why they did not feed S. Davis the ball in the red zone.

Perhaps more importantly, we have two guys battling for starting spots, both veterans, Johnson and Flemister that dropped passes that literally hit them in the palms of thier hands. Now i know there is a lot of support here in this forum for BJ, but, and this is a big BUT, Steve Spurrier does not tolerate that stuff very well.

I would ask how long you think these two guys will last BUT their main function is for blocking ( they weren't doing that good of a job of that either) not catching. The better question I think is how long is Ramsey going to tolerate it. If he's going to be the team leader, he needs to step up and tell it like it is. When it's his fault - admitt it (and he does), when it's your receivers fault, let them know about it.

I agree that Bryan Johnson has a very big butt, however, I do not believe that should affect his job status.

I think that we can all agree that this game is hard to draw definitive conclusions from due to a number of circumstances. We have some things to work on, so let's work on those and not over analyze.

Come on. Johnson missed one pass for goodness sakes. We're going to judge him over one pass? I've seen him make plenty of good plays during his career with the Redskins.
Lets see how he does over the course of preseason before we start losing faith in him...

Halfway through last season BJ was on his way to being a pro-bowler. We have all seen him make some nice plays over the last two years. He is going to be fine. We have bigger things to worry about, like who the f' is going to stop the run.

I hear yah, on our side Glenn dropped two in his hands and Bill Parcells is not much of a forgiving man either in regard to drops, fumbles or interceptions. Maybe SS and BP are just hoodwinking the NFC East, yah that's the ticket, lulling the Iggles and Gints into a false sence of security. Oh I hope so as it may be another long season the first 6 weeks otherwise.

hR welcomes another Cowboy fan! Right outside of DC none the less. Where did you go wrong man? J/K. :)
Joe, didn't Glenn get hurt during the game? Or did I just read something wrong. I read about your Center being lost for the year. Sorry to hear that.
