He is going at four in a lot of my mock drafts.

I've done 8 mocks so far. Portis has gone between 4th and 6th in every one.

I'm lowering CP to #8-9 after his preseason mishap ... bum shoulders zap about 5-10% out of RB's

Plus we won't see him again in the preseason to gauge him.

I hope you have the 4th pick in my next draft and I further hope that I pick 5th.

You have a reference for that 5-10%?

I hope Portis drops in some drafts but I'm leery of using a 1st round pick on him now. Betts will probably be splitting duty with CP early on and I wonder how much goal line duty that Portis gets now.
Sellers value might have gone up...

I like Portis as a 1st rounder in this offense. I don't think the injury will linger and I think he will share the load but put up great numbers in this offense. He will also get more looks in the passing game.

I think his fantasy value just went down the tank like Enron stocks.....

dude forget that. the guy is going to have a monster year. you guys forget that while priest holmes was in kc he was always nicked up, but he still played to perfection because of the talent on that line and the great system. Well look what we have now: a talented line and that same system

I pick #2 in my draft so I won't have to make that tough decision. All things being equal, I just take the back going into the season 100%. I think CP can be 100% by week 3.

I was listening to Emmitt Smith talking on Foxsports about the shoulder injury he played thru in the mid-90's and he said it eliminated about 10 percent of his game.

I have to think Duckett has some effect on CP's fantasy value ... there's going to be a few goal line opportunities lost...
