There should be a map of the stadium that you can look at. Actually, found one.

http://www.redskins.com/tickets/stadium.jsp

http://pages.ebay.com/venues/23552.html there's another one, from eBay

btw, another problem is that your caps lock key seems to be stuck :(

I think that if you buy tickets that say "OBSTRUCTED VIEW" then you should expect to have your view obstructed.

My advice - don't get obstructed view seats. I've heard nothing but tales of frustration from people who've sat in them.

Yeah i know, but like i said all of the 200s say that.So i just want a idea from someone who has been to Fedex that can maybe tell me what it could be or give me a idea.I have never been there so it could be nothing.

Ok Think half the field or Both Endzones (Depending on which OV seats you get) being obstructed by big cement pillars with TV's on them. Also no ability to track the ball in the air because of the overhang. Feel Better now?

I'd suggest going on Ebay or Stubhub or other similar ticket broker and getting some real seats.

This link should give you a view from section 220. Where in 220 I don't know. The Redskins now have an interactive map of the stadium that shows views from all the sections.

The site says that Sec 220 is the Touchdown Club....which are the most expensive tickets. Are you sure that the view is obstructed?

Yeah, but if you look around i dont see anything in the 200s that could cause that bad of a obstruction.

What do you mean above some certain row.
The further the rows go back, the more of a chance they'll be "obstructed view"....Rows 1-15 should be ok, 15 to 20-something are most likely obstructed. (overhang mostly, but some columns in some other sections too)

Smurf, seriously, I would call the team. I'll gladly give you the number for my sales rep at the stadium if you PM me.

Any seat that has been called Obstructed view has received massive complaints, despite the warning And the ability to go see the seats before purchasing them. Obviously you being in Michigan doesn't allow you to visit them. If you want to talk yourself into the notion that it's not that bad, well then be my guest, but I would strongly advise you to take JDS' and My advice and not get seats that contain the words "Obstructed View" on the tickets.

Okay is the Upper bowl a better idea.

Okay is the Upper bowl a better idea.

If you want to see the game.

The best bet, as I said earlier is going through a Ticket Broker or E-bay. People on the club level sell their seats all the time (300 level). Anything in the 100's is pretty good and the Upper bowl (400's) gives you a good but distant view of the action.

Actually Smurf, unless the seller of the tickets can personally attest to the seats being a good view (has sat in them himself), I wouldn't buy those tix.
Just hop on Ebay and look for others, there will be PLENTY on there, if not now then closer to the game...the 300sec. (Club Level) has the best views, IMO, I've sat there a number of times and LOVE the view, not too high, not too low
But the first 10 rows of the Upper Bowl are nice too, as well as rows 20 and up in the 100 sec. (for purely viewing the action, IMHO.)

I sit in Section 219, Row 3 (not obstructed). You are in the section next to me, 12 rows behind. Basically, you are under the club seats. And yes, there are concrete pillars that support the seats above you. So, there are times when your view may be obstructed.

But more than likely, that's not the issue. It's the seats above you that become the obstruction when you stand up (because of the pitch in the above seats, it obstructs you from seeing the whole field). So when the people in front of you stand up, you have to stand up, and it becomes a problem. That's why everyone is always telling the people around them to sit down. I'm one of the culprits that tends to jump out of my seat on occasion!

edit: picture yourself Under the yellow seats shown in post #12.

edit2: row 15 doesnt seem like it would be that bad to me though.

It looks to me like the pics from Sec 220 are taken from like row 5 or 6.

BTW - Nothing annoys me more than people telling me to sit down. If I feel compelled to jump up, it's because something may or may not be happenning. It's a football game not a ballet recital.

Anything above row 13 (row 14 is ok, but barely) is bad. I went and looked at several seats at Fedex the other day and was not impressed. You can't see much of anything. Don't waste your money, just get better seats.

They patterned section 220 on a section in Cracow Stadium.

Every seat is behind a Pole.
