Okay, who plans to get in line today/tomorrow for their copy?

I'll get mine eventually, but I'm not too pressed. I'm more hyped about ESPN Football to be released on Sept 4th.

I am getting mine at Circuit City (you get a $10 gift card with purchase) but I was in there yesterday and they had a sign saying that they wouldn't have it until Thursday...I'll still go tomorrow to see if they have it.

I'm more like Kenny. Not pressed for it that badly. But, I haven't heard about the ESPN game. Is it only for X Box?

Do you guys have the online adaptor for Madden? If you don't it's great and you should pick it up.

I would have to get a router and crap before I could get online...I might look into it though, I really want to play it online....(I suck and would always lose to the freaks online though)

I got it this morning. I like it. It looks a lot more crisp. They finally changed us from the Norv/Marty Playbook. We look ok. I pulled Big Daddy and made all of the league trades before playing. The "PlayMaker" feature is nice but can be a bit confusing at first. I have to play a little before giving a real breakdown but you have to make sure to read the manuel because some of the commands have changed. I can't get on line yet, but I will come December.

I picked up my copy this morning but I won't be able to play until this evening when I get home from work. Anyone who plays online let me know and we can play sometime.

I reserved one at Babbages at the mall and they called monday the 11th and said it was in but I haven't made it up to get it yet

there are some upsides and some downsides for it to come out this early. the upside is that, in a way, football season starts earlier. the downside is that the rosters are not as accurate.

I think that is an aspect that Sega/ESPN is taking advantage of. I think their rosters will be more up to date.

CarMike, no it's not just for XBOX.

h2s, they are not setting this up for online play like last year?

I like Madden a lot.

I almost waited for espn2k4 only because of the 1st player mode. I might still rent it but I heard you can only see at a 70 degree angle. There goes my plan of being McNabb on 1st player mode, lol.

Guys the rosters are updated via the internet....also did anyone else notice that the cover said you could play via dial up..I thought they said only broad-band? That means some of you guys might be able to play after all.

my ps2 is still broken :mad:. think ill borrow my nephews for awhile....for those of you that have it, is true that if you are getting blown out, that people in the stands start leaving? lol...

Well you can't do it from ea store, maybe i'll have a look from amazon or somewhere else. but if i have a 2-3 weeks shipping delay, it's not really interesting. So i keep playing Madden 2003.

Well i've checked on amazon, it would be about $7 for shipping for 11 to 18 business days => i'll wait until 09/11
