Skins v NE ... What you want to see

Ok folks, we have another one this weekend. Obviously we want to see major improvement. What do you wanna see from this game?

Me....

1. I want to see a running game. I wanna see one of these RBs start to stand out.

2. I want to see the OLine protect Ramsey.

3. I want to see dropped passes eliminated

4. I want to see better Dlien play.

5. I want to see defenders actually make tackles.

I want to see everyone hustling
I want to see the offense move the ball
I want to see NO INJURIES as well
I want to see the defense stiffen
I want to see Excellent Special Teams play
I want to see Excellent Coaching
I just want to SEE the game this time.

I get to watch this game(NE broadcasters) so I'm really looking forward to it which means the team will probably look horrid and get blown out. Either way I want to see some more fire from the team.

I wanna see no red, white and blue in the backfield

I wanna see the ball split the uprights (On PAT's preferably)
and the Patriots calling for a fair catch on the 1 yd line

I wanna see the Boys smiling on the sidelines from a job well done

it's just the preseason...I hold NO water to it.
Last year we scored the most points EVER in preseason HISTORY. Yet we were one of the worst offenses in the league during the season.
Nothing is ever what it seems in preseason.

I want to see what difference we make in the trenches. The OL and DL has got to make marked improvement if we are to be sucessful.

Biggest things for me are the penalties and line jobs. Gotta see improvements there.

I want to see how the offense handles a 3/4 defense w/ all it's zone blitzes and false front coverages. The Jets use it sometimes, Atlanta and New England will use it all the time. Those are 3 of our first 4 "real" game opponents. How Ramsey makes adjustments and how well our center makes line calls, will be interesting.
New england does not have a RB that scares a defense and thier OL was counting on Brendan Stai to start (bah!). So if they manhandle our D, it may be close to panic time.
The unspecial teams need to save face. Never mind the last scrimmage game, this joke of a unit has been stinking it up for YEARS. I would like to see some small glimmer of hope.
As for the coaches, I'd like to see Spurrier get his plays in quicker. I believe his slow play calling/communication, handicap our offensive players. The QB and OL can't get a good read on the defensive alignment with the shortened amount of time. Also, the defenses we play have the advantage of knowing the snap is not comming until the last few seconds are on the play-clock. It took till the end of last season before the Redskins successfully "quick counted".
And lastly I'd like to see some commitment from the whole Team. Last game there was a lot of yawning exersizes and a geuine lack of interest.

I agree that we cant judge from the preseason how we will do in the reg season.If i remember correctly we seldom had winning preseasons with coach Gibbs.

We need someone to cut a decent DT,we shouldn't have cut Wilkinson this yr,not w/o keeping Gardner(who wanted too much $)or flying in another DT like we did o-lineman.

I say if Rypien and Thiesman won us superbowls with the hogs in front of them then when our o-line starts gellin PR can start making a run for the playoffs.And we all saw what a stellar line did for timmy smith,reggie brooks and so on.Give the d-line more help and the o-line time to become a more cohesive unit and we will be 9-7 or 10-6 this year(schedules tough ).

I want to see more of T. Canidate, S. McCullough, S. Cloman and R. Flowers on Offense, and A. Pierce and Jimoh on Defense.

I want to see the Skins look better prepared overall. They just didn't look ready to play last Saturday.

LOL - Yeah, When you find let me know cause I have some for Baltimore .................. Sure wish we go back to the old days, Preseason Ticket were optional in stead of tacking them on to our regular season cost.

I want to see no penalties.

I want to see caught balls (by our offense AND defense).

I want to see NE QBs with less than 4 seconds to throw the ball.

I want to see Trung break tackles, get hit hard and hold onto the ball. (getting popped by Bowen once doesn't convince me just yet.

I want to see consistently long and straight punts.

I want to see our young guys shining at every opportunity.

I want to see A game...any game! At this point, I don't care which, but please cable...show a football game!

Hey I like the Pats...Brady is a good guy..I know your just kidding but man the thought of good players getting hurt in preseason ticks me off. I am one of those fans that just hates how many preseason games there are.
