The jags have a gem in Leftwich...I'm glad he was signed.

Are any of you as disgusted as I am with players not signing? What's the point of drafting if the player sits out? What Lee Suggs is doing is disgusting. He may sit out all season and RE-ENTER the draft!!!! If so, the owners should lock him out and NO ONE draft him.

Leftwich's deal also comes just one day after sources close to the quarterback told ESPN.com that the two sides were not close to striking a deal.

Leftwich has the potential to be a better than average QB - just keep his and his agents ego out of the equation. I hope he does well for the Jags - they're a team I enjoy watching and I am rooting for their rookie head coach.
