Are you a Red? A Blue? Or a Tipper? [That last refers to someone who tips back and forth, not to Al Gore's wife.] Take this test (http://www.applebeesamerica.com/quiz.html) and find out.
Full disclosure: I scored a 7, which makes me a Tipper, but much closer to a Red than a Blue. That test might need a bit of adjustment.

10 red...i will say, every computer political test i have taken has placed me inthe libertarian camp.. which is how i would classify myself, excpet in foreign policy where i am a true interventionalist..

ok total proof that this test is crapola.
and I doubt I would go to a wrestling match or a monster truck show but at least a monster truck show has a chance of exploding cars.

I had the same problem deciding between an Audi or a Saab.

I got a 9, but I don't know how. If I'm not superficial enough to buy Evian when Deer Park tastes better, do I not bleed? Also, Monster Truck Show or Pro Wrestling Match? Neither if I'm sober, both if I'm not. :)

8-Red...
The hardest was the bourbon/scotch vs. gin/vodka question. I love them all...;-)
But I went with Vodka...as a cocktail party isn't the same without a nice chilled dirty vodka martini with lots of olives.

Scotch or whiskey for me. They keep me honest. :)

I wanted to answer "none of the above" for all the questions.
But then, that's usually how I feel when I look at my ballot on Election Day too, so maybe the test is pretty accurate.

Dave I also scored a 9 - more red than you. Are you sure your head is not spinning right off your body? Have you seen it rain toads recently? Is hell freezing over?
Nice test - NOT!
i scored 11...only william f buckley has me beat :D

7: tipper with Centrist, Capitalist-Libertarian leanings.
i have a question on the dr pepper vs sprite question. obviously being from Texas, i chose dr pepper. is the thought that if you drink dr pepper you're likely from Texas or the south so more likely conservative and if you drink sprite you're likely african american (just a generalization based on their marketing of late) so more likely liberal? i'm just a bit confused as to how that's at all an indication of my (or anyone's) voting tendencies.

I thought Mountain Dew was the most popular soda in the south. When I lived in NC, everyone drank Sundrop, which is a clone of the Dew.
Anyhow, is there really any difference between who watches tractor pulls or pro wrestling? Coors or Bud? Audi or Saab?
Most of these questions did not differ enough to seperate anybody.

that was my thought on everything except the soft drink question and the save the buck vs the lottery ticket question...they're all two sides of the same coin.

Blasphemy!! other than the 2 both being citrus sodas Sun-Drop and Mountain Spew are nothing alike to the refined drinker. Sun-Drop has much more kick and makes Mountain Dew taste flat in comparison.

I don't know. I thought Dem because it is so Hollywood centric, but then I thought Rep because "TV Guide" is the heaviest reading some folks do, lol.

ok seriously how is Discovery Channel conservative? I watch it all the time, espescially MythBusters. You would think the anti-evolution crowd would tip Discovery Channel to the liberal side.

Agreed. And I've never seen the tree hugging crowd at a wrestling match drinking a Bud either, lol. I think this test has to be considered more fun than valid.

Shows like Monster Garage, American Chopper and American Hot Rod would seem to cater more to the conservative side of America.

You know Discovery Channel is liberal because when they do all those shows about dinosaurs, they don't pretend the dinos were alive 4000 years ago and doing battle with cavemen.

OT, but I have to say that many of the Poindexter shows that I like to watch seem to have been moved over the Science channel or one of the other channels in the Discovery family. Discovery Communications is one of our clients and I am always giving them crap about that. Which, of course means < hill of beans to them.
