Sounds right to me, but don't we have a fantasy forum here?

Re: Betts, I hope we sign him long term before the end of the season. I think he is a darn fine backup and would be a starter on many teams. I think Betts can step-in if Portis goes down.

thats why I don't think Betts will be signed. He knows theirs cash for him out there as a starter. That is if he can stay healthy long enough...

Dallas, Philly, San Fran, Minnesota, Detroit, Jets, Pittsburgh. He could compete for the starters job with any of those teams.

betts is good, but he will suck as a starter on someone else's team. maybe if they had a 2 back system, like what KC ran, he could do well. but we are running KC's system, lol

Betts has a lot of potential. He's not the best runner, blocker or pass catcher but he is above average to very good in each category which makes him a valuable asset on offense. Now, if he can just show that he's not made of straw...

No, you didn't miss anything, but Betts sure has: 4 games in 2005, 7 in 2003 and 5 more in 2002 -- all as a part time player. I'm not convinced that he can withstand the rigors of a 16 game season as a backup, let alone as a starter for some other team. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we've got him; I just hope that his bout with the injury bug is over with.

I like how when they rank the RBs Clinton Portis is #5 and Edge is #6, but in the overall rankings Portis is #7 and Edge is #5.

that's.... odd...
i think that if betts leaves, the iggles will try to sign him since they pretty much have the same kind of back (i use that word loosely with these guys) in Ryan Moats and Brian Westbrook. They need somebody that can actually run up the gut. If betts leaves for money, he's not gonna find it in philly.
