Article in today's fishwrapper speculates that Sir Charles Barkley may run for Guv'nah of Alabama in a few years. He threatens to run every few years, actually.

Charles seems pretty conservative, to me.

He is a mix...and is running as a Dem...we are discussing this in the Potomac.

Hi Central NY-
I just posted a different, more complete version of the A.P. article. I think people might vote for him just for the novelty. He seems angry that state leaders talk too much about huge national issues, when they should focus on the matters of the state. I'd like to hear his ideas. It would be an entertaining campaign, anyways!
