I just read it on ESPN.com. The Tuna must not be feelin' Hambrick at this point in preseason....

Adrian Murrell? I had no idea that guy was still alive, let alone playing football. That isn't a good sign for Troy Hambrick.

That's funny. Hambrick was the man to replace Emmitt (all time leader) Smith, and now they are digging up an old rb to help him??? Not good at all!
But hey, as long as it helps us beat the cowpatties, I'm all for it!

Adrian Murrell, a former 1 term Redskin, signed during Snyder's original spending spree prior to the 2000 season, spent the bulk of his career with the Cardinals if I am not mistaken. Had some decent years with them, but has been on the decline the past 4 seasons. If Parcells is bringing him in it means a couple of things:

1. Hambrick must really be unimpressive.
2. The pool of RB's is even more shallow than that of DT's.
3. The 'pokes are prime for picking this year. They don't have an NFL QB to speak of and evidently they won't be able to grind it out either. I expect they will be watching the waiver wire with all the anticipation of a 16 year old boy waiting for the sequel to "Dude, where's your car!"

Funny and true. Murrell's best days were with the Jets prior to the arrival of Curtis Martin. No back succeeds in Arizona. Hear that Emmitt??
