The title says it all, but you can read it here (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2536868).

i thought the rams might have gotten him instead... oh well... I'm sure this is a decent opportunity for Bennet. Well, better than what he's had in recent years.

The Chiefs better get another RB to backup Bennett when he gets his annual injury.

unless he can play offensive line this wont help that much.

Is Priest Holmes retiring? That gives them a pretty crowded backfield of Johnson, Holmes and Bennet if not.
New Orleans moved Bennet rather quickly after signing Bush. I thought they would wait a couple of weeks into the preseason to see if a team had an injury at RB so they could get more for him.

Holmes has retired from what I am reading.

I've always been a Bennett fan, despite his propensity for injury.
I think of him as a speedster on indoor turf. I always thought he lost a step in the grass.
Regardless, I don't see him getting the ball very often.

I just heard on the radio that the Chief do not expect Holmes to retire. He is at home preparing to playfootball and awaiting medical clearance to join the team.
