News would have been them reporting that he wasn't starting.

I read that Royal and Cartwright would probably get starts in the Post earlier today.

Good! Liked Royal in what little I saw last year, still looking good this year, let's see some more.
Flemister's just been keeping the seat warm for someone else anyway.

I'm surprised they resigned Flemister before last season ended. I thought Leondard Stephens had a better upside the Flem did, especially the rate at which he drops passes. I saw him play at Iowa. There is a reason he was an undrafted FA.

More like "Excellent, that means Flemister doesn't kill 12 drives with drops this year!"

I couldn't agree with you more!!! Royal made some unbelievably difficult catches last year in pre-season before he got hurt. I always prefered him to Flem.

If he catches what's thrown to him, Royal will have 30+ receptions.

its about time! im tired of zeron dropping passes all the darn time, especially the wide open ones. i hope rob takes the job and runs with it (literally). hopefully he will do well enough to take over the job permanently. i heard spurrier refer to zeron as Flem. how disgusting is that! im gonna start calling him lougie! lol

Good news about Royal. Hopefully Trotter fairs well and can be up to near 100% by Sept 4. He's one hell of a run stopper that we'll need at full speed against Martin/Jordan.
