Some of this is pretty funny . . . most of it pretty SAD!! . . . A lot of sick bastards that played in the NFL . . . some of them might get some of you a little riled though . . .
Sean Taylor, S, Redskins: Gets a spot on the team even though he's only got two years in the league, due to a string of fines and a bizarre ATV-and-guns incident from June 2005, for which he faced felony charges.
Michael Westbrook, WR, Redskins: One of the all-time first-round receiver busts whose most memorable moment was beating the crap out of Stephen Davis in 1997.
Albert Connell, WR, Redskins, Saints: Re-defined rookie hazing as "stealing the dude's money."
Kenyatta Jones, OT, Patriots, Redskins: Busted in college for "displaying a firearm" inside a night club, Jones broke from the same-old rap sheet entries by throwing boiling water on his roommate while said roommate was on the toilet.
Jeff George, QB, Colts, Raiders, Falcons, Vikings, Redskins, Seahawks: Me-first, me-only flamethrower with arm by NASA and body by Lego who was universally reviled by players, coaches, and the media. Except for Jason Whitlock and Len Pasquarelli.
Dexter Manley, DE, Redskins: Had a cyst in his brain for 20 years and never once realized it would have been a great excuse for his misbehavior.
Darrell Russell, DT, Raiders, Redskins, Buccaneers: A promising career was ruined by drug use and allegations of videotaping his friends having sex with a drugged woman. Russell died in a car crash last year after a failed comeback attempt.
Daryl Gardener, DT, Dolphins, Redskins, Broncos: Known for going turdish whenever he got paid big money, Gardener busted his hand in a fight outside a Denver-area IHOP after receiving a huge deal from the Broncos and never was the same again.

Only two of them were "turds"(And Taylor doesn't deserve to be in this list) while they were skins. So, I can't get upset about this.

Lets hope we can say in a couple of years that Sean Taylor still doesn't deserve to be on one of these lists.

that doesnt really bother me.
the comforting thing about the skins players on this list, are that alot of them were only here a few yeards tops(connell, gardener, russell). think about how many are from dallas.

agree about taylor not deserving to be on this list.. on the other hand you could add raphel cherry to the list. as of now i believe he is still incarcerated for murder (wife or ex wife, i believe).. a real bad dude..

so did manley.. and he laughed about it afterwards as the refs never saw it and awarded a penalty on the opponent for reacting to manley..

I think Manley used to spit on OL hands to get them to move once they were already set, lol.

do yall remember the "unabated to the QB" rule, where Manley used to cause a false start, and then go ahead and run around the tackle to crush the QB while everyone else was standing around?

that would net you 15 yards now for sure. maybe a suspension.. in the spitting incident dexter said he sneezed...

I don't think the spitting actually bothered me, it was the fact that he almost cost us the game for something that damn stupid. During the regular season without ST, TB threw all over us. And it almost happened again, but this time it was his damn fault.

This list is a total waste of time and a BS article in my opinion. The reasons for some of the players being on the list is just plain dumb! :banghead:

Yeah, Cherry was a poor man's Sean Taylor back in 1985. He was a heavy hitter, and he had a Jerry Curl. LOL

*yawn
where are Peter King and Pasta the Gut?
umm ... in order to correct a SIGNIFICANT oversight would it acceptable to add a citation noting every man to ever put an Eagles jersey on (yes fans included), or do we have to name each and every one of them?

there were at least 300 who passed through Washington who were outstanding citizens of the highest order.
Just to name a few, I am thinking about Darrell Green, Chris Hanburger, Brig Owens, Ernest Byner, Larry Brown, Charles Mann, Harold McClinton, Dave Robinson, Ray Schoenke, Jack Pardee, Russ Grimm, Monte Coleman, Reggie Branch, Russell Tillman, Ken Houstan, Mark Moseley and Darryl Grant.
In particular, I like to think about the guys who came out of nowhere to lead the team, like Mel Kaufman, Len Hauss, Joe Jacoby and Mark Murphy.
I have always been extremely proud of the character of this team, and I think that reflects the philosophy of management, the coaches, and the owners.

It was Jim Dombrowski an UVA grad and OT for the New Orleans Saints. Happened in a 1988 game at RFK.
