Also, notice how much penetration the front seven is getting. There isn't a player on the line that isn't in the backfield a second after the ball is snapped, that my friends, is impressive.

After watching the scrimmage again last night, I realized that wasn't the play that Anderson got the concussion. It was the next play (the Marcus INT). Somebody came in on a blitz and Anderson got clocked when he tried to block him. Does anybody know who it was? I couldn't tell in actual speed and they didn't replay that part of the play.

It was on last night at 8pm on Comcast. I don't know if they will replay it again.

Not sure, but I did hear Anderson complaining on ComCast Saturday night when I got home about a helmet to helmet hit.

We was laying wood on people, I believe he hit Anderson really hard another time either before or after this hit, I don't remember. I think this is going to be the year where he gets several interceptions, maybe a couple touchdowns and causes a few fumbles. :)

ST is seriously going to end up killing someone this year. Arch may be the accomplice.

I haven't seen someone hit like ST does since Ronnie Lott played. Wow, that's a great video. Thanks for posting!

Its not every day you see 230lbs of running back get punched back like that!

and anderson is one tough dude.. and he had forward momentum on the play as well

Ah yeah, that was a thing of beauty. I remember watching this play at the game, and saw ST just waiting in the cut until Anderson burst through the line after a good block from the lineman, ST came through and just drilled him followed by a loud moan from the crowd,"OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH"!
I think everyone in the stadium felt that blow. I expect more big hits this coming season.

You know, watching that replay again, Arch got completely taken out of the play somehow. Like, he just fell over. Hopefully, it was just the one play... or he was just trying to get out of ST's way.:rolleyes:

TO does take a lot of hits.. that sort of stuff is cummulative, no doubt..

I believe it was Prioleau who smacked Anderson in the head on the blitz, he looked like he was playing Nickel back in the scrimmage, so I think it was him who blitzed on Anderson. And if Anderson is whining about some helmet to helmet contact while making a blitz pick-up then he should go play competititve curling because football may be too rough for him.

And also comforting when considering the defensive penetration we were getting is that we played 11 on 11 without three starters on the D-line. Daniels, Griffin, and Salave'a all sat out.

That's what I'm saying! We would have had a 5 yard loss if Anderson didn't redirect, when he did #91 (Clemons maybe) had his man beat and was waiting for the cutback, Anderson had to pick the hole that had Taylor in it and got laid out. There was nowhere to go that play, our defense is going to be insane this year.

I think it was Warrick Holdman blitzing from the weakside.

I have watched this clip over and over. It is awesome when I check it out at work and get all the bears fans to gather round. I'm like, "guys, watch this hit, if you think Urlacher can lay people out, watch this." Everyone is like, "oooohhhhh," when they see him take out MA.
