The Monocan League draft took over 3 hours to complete... that is only for 15 rounds! What is up guys! Some team owners semed very unsure of whom to pick even in the early rounds. Not trying to pick fun... just making a point. Most 15 round drafts take 60-90 min... wonder why ours took so long? Who is guilty?

In other news... judging by the inept draft selections... the Pregnant Parrots have already built their trophy cabinet at team headquarters in Harrisburg, PA!

In my experience, I've never had a live draft last any less than 2.5 hours....

Think of it this way, in a 12-owner, 15 round draft, you have 180 picks. To get it done in 60 minutes you need to make a pick every 20 seconds! Youv'e been in drafts in which the average pick is 20 seconds?

I think the better reality is closer to 90 minutes... the prepared owner already has an idea who he/she wants... as their turn comes along they make their pick... 10 sec tops.

As the rounds tick down owners can plan ahead and if their guy gets nabbed they grab someone else. Can't imagine why it takes some 4 minutes to decide... either he is or he aint!

Either way... I think 3 hours was REALLLY slow!

(I was on the phone with Candiman until round 10.... what a phone bill!)

Time limit should have been alot smaller. All my yahoo drafts were 90 secs and everyone did just fine.

I know I was guilty of letting the clock run low a couple times...I wasn't trying to hold the draft up or anything, I was just faced with a tough decision and had to figure out which way to go.

Just another sign of the inferiority of your conference. ;)

Could be. At least WHEN I win, I'll know that I faced adversity to do it.
