Buddy Lists... Fact or Fiction?

What are these things? Do they work? And if so, what are they supposed to do? I only notice a little "+" sign next to the guinea pig accounts I superficially said were my buddies (sorry Hawgz :D). Is that all this does?

I believe it's a mechanism for identifying (+ sign) you buddies on the board. I believe you can also use it to PM everyone on your list at one time.

Thanks, H2S. I was wondering if there might be something else to it. I will now promptly remove Hawgz from my buddy list, lol.
