Why doesn't Al Davis get railed for being an idiot, but Danny gets slammed for moves that everyone likes beforehand but ridicules afterwards? Did Jeff "Wonderlic 10" George get a brain transplant? No? Then he's still going to suck.

Has George even played for anyone over the last 3 seasons?
Yea I can see signing a 39 Year Old QB who is a lockeroom cancer that hasn't played a down since 2001. Makes sense to me.

He hasn't played in 5 seasons, lol. Why not try and coax Rich Gannon out of retirement. At least he can PLAY the position, lol.

He was with the Bears at either the end of last season or the season before, but he has not thrown a pass in 5 years.

The Cowgirls, Ebenezer Ekuban was the player who dragged George.
It was Terry Robinskie's debut as head coach.

So, youd rather have Jeff George?
As far as third stringers go you could do alot worse, was the point I was making. And I tell you who does have confidence in him, Al Saunders. No one expects this guy to be Tom Brady. But as long as he can serve as a mentor to JC and Brunell concerning the offense he is a key addition to the team.
Or we could pick up a guy with a cannon for an arm and a cancer for a personality. Ryan Leaf is still out there.

What I am however suggesting is that Todd Collins is an inferior qb for our team. Sure he can tutor but if Brunell goes down he may have to do a bit more than that which I severely question. I expected more from him and fret at the thought of him taking a real snap for us. If he wants to be tutor he needs to become a qb coach rather than a self gratified backup.

Well, he didnt sign himself.
Believe me if he gets playing time during the regular season Ill be the first one to the Southern Comfort. But you cant expect much considering how much money we already have invested in the QB position. I think its good that we have a vet who really knows the offense as opposed to what else was floating out there.

He knows he's making a better living doing this than anything else he could do. Gibbs has invested ALOT in Al Saunders and I realize his system takes time. But we need it now. This team is primed to win NOW and his system needs to get going quickly. All thoughts on the Skins' offense will be reserved for 2 wks but as of now I'm concerned.

None other than the cowboys, and spanked his rear too, if I'm not mistaken. It was in Dallas, and we got our butts handed to to us that day. Don't remember which player, but I remember how pissed I was. :banghead:

It was Dallas and Alonzo Spellman (a very scary man) was the guy who dragged him around. Due to Spellman's mental health problems it was probably a wise decision.

Moss may have a big year but that team will be lucky to win 6 games. Aaron Brooks is as shaky as it gets and they bring in Jeff George (the original team killer, himself?). I like Art Shell and I think he will restore them, eventually, to a solid team but right now, he has too many prima-donna's on that squad.

watch brooks running for his life behind a shaky o line.. watch him fumble the ball without contact.. that ought to get the raider nation in an uproar...

However I think KC is going to take a big step back this season. Edwards' system is a big change from Vermeil/Saunders. The defense isn't good. Just have a gut feeling that KC is going to finish last in that division.

could happen.. their defense wasn't that good last year (except against the skins) and with herm (an overated coach IMHO) tinkering with the offense it is likely to go down as well.

Yeah the ESPN "analysts" said that it would be less of a cap hit if he signed after the regular season starts.
Hopefully, this is enough time for him to grow a mullet.

Witness in Indianapolis, from here in his turf area and by Warren Central High School swear this is only to get more monetary compensation from the NFL. It had to be MASKED, to cover DEFICIENCES, to allow LONG payments, muscled into tight spots, but taxes may INTERCEPT his ATTEMPTS and SACK his comeback.
