Yeah, I don't know what Kentucky has to do with it. It wasn't like he received a cheap shot or something.

I've heard that he didn't redshirt his freshman year so he should be able to receive another year of eligability.

I don't think he redshirted, but we had WR a couple years ago who got a medical redshirt which didn't count as a normal redshirt, so he was here six years: one redshirt, one medical and four years of eligibility. He actually got hurt before the season another time but the NCAA declined a second medical redshirt.

yeah, UNC has a guy on the OL like that. He's been at UNC for 6 years now...

They have been some UK basketball players who seemed to be in school long enough to earn a PhD. Bogans and Prince come to mind.

Neither Redshirted and both played four years. Tubby doesn't seem to believe in redshirting.
