This is another one of the good battles going on in camp. It's for the #3 CB spot. Both are alumnus of Oregon.

I too am rooting for Bauman. Molden, by all accounts, has underachieved thus far in his career.

Yeah, I'd have to go with Bauman too. Anyone who Darrell Green likes is good in my book.

I like Bauman, but not as a starter. I prefer him in the Nickel. I just think that he is too small. OK, I know that Darrell Green and Bauman are about the same size, but come on, WERE TALKING ABOUT DARRELL GREEN. He is a freak of nature. I personally like Smoot and think that he is a good #2 cover. Yes, he has been burnt (mostly deep), but that could be somewhat alieviated if we had better (cover) Safeties. Terrell is NOT the answer (and Shade was terrible against the pass/but good against the run).

I like what I've seen from Bauman, but Molden is also serviceable. I just commented in the other thread that I wouldn't be mad if the team traded Smoot for a quality DT. We have Bauman and Molden here along with our main man Champ. I don't hate Smoot or anything. This just makes sense to me. If we're a little overloaded here (Molden was a starter now in the 4th spot), why not try to stop the bleeding up front?

Not only that, but anyone Still getting tutored by Darrell Green is good in my book.
