I am waiting to see who is going to be available for the game against the Vikings.

Who is going to start at:

1) RB
2) CB
3) DT/DE

I am wondering how accurate our Depth chart (http://www.redskins.com/team/depthchart.jsp) is, we trade for Duckett and he's not even listed?

I'd also like to know the health status of our lineman on both sides of the lines.

If you have any information, help me out.

The official injury report should be up by Thursday.
I'm guessing Springs will be ruled out, Portis and Griffin will be questionable, Daniels and anyone else that is nicked, will be probable.

sounds like a reasonable assessment. i think it is much more likely griffin will play than either portis or springs..

I am going to assume that Springs will be out and Portis will be limited in action, and Griff and Daniels rotated in and out,

who will get the start with Rogers, Wright/Rumph/or even Ade?

who will be featured in Portis's absence, Duckett/Betts/ or even Cartwright?

who is going to be active for the game along the Dline?

We probably won't know much of that until Monday, the Skins won't reveal the active roster for the game until the last possible moment, which is game day.
I'm pretty sure Wright will start in Springs place. If Portis doesn't play, I would imagine Betts starts for now and Duckett would spell him occasionally. Duckett will move ahead of Betts within a few weeks, whether or not Portis is playing.

I am hoping to hear something in today's PC from Gibbs about the health of our players. We definitely need to have Griff back in form next week.

IMO:
1)Either Wright or Rumph (didn't see the preseason games so I have no idea)
2)Duckett and Betts about 15 carries each if CP isn't ready.
3)Everybody meaningful.

I think Gibbs is gonna be pretty tight lipped about our lineup this week. I doubt Springs will play but IMO, Portis will be out there but only in limited fashion. Come Monday night, I think we'll see mostly everybody out there though.

Well I just listened to today's audio at redskins.com and they spoke with Phillip Daniels who says he should be good to go for next Monday. I am a little concerned about his back issues though, I hope he wreaks havoc in the backfield, because that is the only way we are going to take Johnson out of his rhythmn.

back problems are often the end of a career. Riggo had back problems and spent time in traction before games. look at Larry Bird.

yeah, especially if you are a DE, being expected to come from a 3 point stance and being expected to generate a pass-rush. I just hope that he is fully-recovered and can be effective there this year.

I myself deal with backpains all the time and know the effects of nagging back pains, hopefully they will not impact PD's performance.

CP will play if he can go. We all know he's a gamer, and isn't going to sit out unless absolutely necessary. That being said, I'd still expect to see a lot of Duckett and Betts, regardless.
