I don't know:
-GB should still be decent
-I expect Minny to be improved this year and even better next year
-Baltimore WILL be a legit SB contender by next season
-Cincy has to improve at some point, right?
-Chi may not be that good
-Det should be much better in year 3 of harrington and year 2 of Mooch.
-Cleveland is a team headed in the right direction
-Pitt eventually has to take a step back(I think it may be this year)
Yeah, right now(obviously way too early but just for fun...) it looks easier than this year's sched but who knows.

Well it does seem better then the 4th toughest schedule in the entire freakin league.

That's one thing I like about this new format, with the exception of 2 games, you know the opponents for the next few years well in advance.

Oh God, we have both Norths next year?! Hallelujah! Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we're free at last!
Ahem.... Anyway, I sort of agree with you, Junc. I'm not sure Baltimore will be an SB contender. Good shot at the playoffs, but I still think they'll need at least one more year. Cincy could be coming off a whopping 5-11 season, which is a big improvement, but still reeks of awfulness. Detroit probably won't be any better than a .500 team that year, they've still got too many problems on both sides of the ball. Cleveland is a team headed in the wrong direction. They gutted their defense this year, they won't be making consecutive playoff trips. And I highly doubt Pitt will be taking a step back, as by the time we play them they'll have Famous Amos running the ball full time, a couple of years' rapport between Burress, Randel El, Ward, and Maddox, and in all likelihood a better pass defense. Scary stuff.

Green Bay - Favre might be retired?
Minnesota - Perennial underachievers
Baltimore - QB and WR questions...
Cincinnati - Cinci is Cinci....
AWAY
Chicago - Team w/out identity. Slash can be contained...
Detroit - Rogers can't do it all by himself
Cleveland - Up and coming...but still is suspect.
Pittsburgh - SCARY team....
The only team that down right scares me is Pitt. Unlike this year, when we have to play the Dolphins, Saints, Bucs...etc.

Green Bay- Hey we finally hav them outside of lambeau
Minnesota- Good match-up, hopefully Champ will still be here to cover moss and LaVar can keep Daunte and Bennett from doing damage
Baltimore- Always beat em
Cincy- You can never tell
Chicago-Trust me even with Spurriers boy Rex, the Chicago Urlachers are a one-man team who can't do anything
Detriot- for some odd reason we hav had hard times beating them in Detriot hopefully it can change
Cleveland-I'm afaird of having beer bottles thrown at our good players
Pitt- Tough team but Maddox cant do it two years in a row, why could he in 3

Why exactly can't Maddox do it two years in a row?

He's not that kind of QB. I like the guy and i thought he would be good when i saw him in the XFL. But i just don't see him doing it again.
It's just my opinion, my opinions are different from a lot of poeple, some are right and some are wrong. Not many people believe me but i said that the Steelers would be bad last year with Stewart as the QB and if MAddox came in the would be in the playoffs

So why your sudden dropoff in faith for Maddox?

I wish we could have that schedule THIS YEAR! :(

By the way....next week will be the Skins second time playing the Ravens (I BELIEVE)....and both have been at Fed Ex.
It surprises me that our 3rd ever meeting will also be at Fed Ex. (Its too bad, too...because playing in Balto would be like adding another home game to us local's scheudle!)

Actually, I might rather have it next year. If all goes well, next year our team will be in its prime and fully gelled, while at the same time the perennial NFC East champion (Philly) will be facing a lot of problems due to contracts ending. We can push for a division crown and home field advantage with that kind of schedule.
Incredibly optimistic, I know, but possible nonetheless.

Yea, good points Joe. I just hate to have to look to next season when our 2nd preseason game for THIS season starts in about 2 hours, you know?
But I think we should be set for 2004.
Next year should be fun. Espeecially if we can get some quality FA's like STRAHAN (HITN HINT WINK WINK).

I for one actually believe that the Skins will have a better team NEXT YEAR as opposed to this year. One more year in the system, plus a number of draft picks. We should be primed to go to the SB (hopefully).
