I'm tired of seeing long TD's on him. Get Ohalete in there. I couldn't see the game, but that's one of the few plays i saw. Besides, we need him on special teams.

I actually thought Bauman was to blame as well.

Actually, will the real David Terrell please sit down. I don't know what the coaches saw in training camp, but it is not transferring onto the field.

I think that safety spot is going to be a problem this year. I don't think either Terrell or Ohalete are good enough.

Ohalete shows me more than Terrell. I think he should start next to Bowen.

I agree xoffenda. Iffy is a lot better than Terrell.
H2S, how was Bauman at fault? I didn't get to see the game and on SC they showed Terrell fall down just before the ball got there.
Just wondering about what I didn't see on the highlights.
Thanks in advance....

It looked to me like Terrell just got burnt, like he always does. He just isnt a very good cover man

It was a zone play where Bauman let Patten go to Terrel when Patten just burnt him. It wasn't Bauman's fault, he was just doin what the play was

Iffy is a playmaker IMO...he may not look good in practice but when the whistle sounds he just seems to make plays. Let the man start.

Yeah, after reviewing the play, Bauman wasn't at fault. I remember seeing him chasing the guy but noticed he was on another receiver as well.

Yeah, Bauman stayed in to cover the mid range threat and Terrel looked like he hesitated a bit before moving over to cover patten.
So as usual, Terrel got smoked. He can't cover for crap, he can't tackle for jack, and I see absolutley no heart from him when playing defense. Oh, and did I mention he's slow? When he's on SP teams, I think he does well. Ohalete is a much better Player. I think The battle for the job should be between Lott and Ohalete with Ohalete eventually winning out. Iffy was a beast last year. In the N.O. game he put a couple of nasty licks on Deuce McAllister.

I also feel that Brady had way too much time on that play.

He did, but the fact is that Terrell seems to be involved in every single big play that happens when our defense is on the field. The man is a touchdown machine, but for the wrong team.

I think Lott should get a chance as well. He played corner and safety in college so you know he's got some cover skills.

You are absolutely RIGHT! Other than Terrell (who is terrible), THE D-LINE WAS AT FAULT. No pass russ at all.

The real Terrell was never that good to begin with. I think it should be Iffy all the way.

Don't forget that the Pats caught us on a cornerback blitz. There's plenty of blame to go around on that play. I can't even recall who the CB was that blitzed because he didn't apply any pressure on Brady.

I agree...
In fact...I saw more blitzes allowed by the TEs and FBs than the front 5. (Robert Royal, for one totally dropped his assignment on one play)

The front five was solid in general, but then there were random plays where they'd have blown assignments. At least that's what the preseason's for.

Regardless...I'll bet the sight of Terrell tripping over the 20 yard line has been replayed in Edward's head over and over again in his sleep last night.
I'll bet we will get a chance to see Ohalete start vs the Ravens.

the CB blitzing was champ....he was chipped by the tackle then finished off by the full back.

When will the George Edwards and the rest of the redskins staff see that david terrel is like one of the worst safties in the NFL. He Fricken Sucks Horribly:mad: . Ohalete showed last year he was better than terrel with big plays like a int for td against the saints. Terrel got burned by lets see.... James Thrash, Amani Toomer, Issac Bruce, Joey Galloway, and some recievers that arent even good at all. TERREL MUST NOT START :banghead:

Terrell is an over achieving SP player and that is all.We will suffer until we replace him.As far as i can tell we have problems on ST,DL and OL.So basically we bettered ourselves at WR and K over the post season and little more.
Dont get me wrong i like Bowen,Thomas,Fiore and some of our other pick ups.But Terrell and Moore should have been replaced and surely we could have found a punter while flying people in.

Agreed. Moore was pushed around like a schoolyard nerd all of last season. He was especially bullied in the Saints game and the GB game. I really think at one point that he actually FEARED Grady Jackson!!!! Well, I would too but If I weighed 300+lb's I would at least fight my butt off til the end.
