First off, welcome to hR Redskinfan29. Glad to have you here.

I am all for bringing this guy in. We need help badly on the DL, even more now since Noble seems to be lost for the year. The one problem may be that we can't afford him. Not sure what his price tag would be. I hope we can work something out.

Grady sounds like the kind of player we need..guess we just have to see what the FO does.

From the reports that I'm reading today, it seems like we like the guy from Denver......Dalton I beleive?

Either way, I hope he can come in and settle our DL down...

Sounds like a great guy for us to have, but he might cost too much.

Don't get too excited - there are alot of possibilities out there but the Skins are NOT moving that fast and are putting conditions on some that look good a few days ago (ie. Dalton, now want him to reduce his salary for less than 1 million - that how we got rid of DW). ......... I don't know it just doesn't seem like SS & DS are too worry about the DT position as much as the local media is.

Well I read on the Post Saints plan on keeping him so its moot point now. Dalton looks like the best bet.

Looks as if they may be willign to part with one of there backup guys. If that is teh case, go after dalton and let Hailey, Holsey, and Jackson comepete for the open spot. A good fierce remaining off season battle could spark on of these guys. We need one of these guys to step up like Carkl Powell did last season.

What we need to remember is that trading for Jackson, Washington, or Traylor will greatly affect our cap number going into next season. As everyone knows, Champ is a FA and all of our focus should be on re-signing him. I agree with you Penn, go after Kelly Chase from New Orleans (an underrated player since his arrival in NO) or Lionel Dalton from Denver, plug them in at the three technique position and give them an opportunity to show what they've got in a starting role. I think Dalton is probably the best option because he will play the nose tackle because of his run-stopping ability, allowing Haley to go back to the pass rushing tackle position, where he is more natural and comfortable.

The thing I like so far is the Fo doesn't (yet) seem to be ready to make a panic deal. Lets hope we can get atleast Dalton and would be willing to spend a llittle to get Jackson also

Here, here! I'm glad the FO is not over reacting. You can't always spend your way out of every jam. Sometimes you got to play with the guys you got. And sometimes that even works out too. Don't panic, or sell the team down the river.
