Mark Brunell looked awful vs the Vikes. Before the game he told Suzy Kolber (ESPN) that he was "confused" and "uncomfortable" with the new offense. He then went out and proved it.

When Brunell came to DC he got a new offense and stunk for 1 year until he learned it. Are we looking at the 2004 Brunell in 2006? Defenses will figure the dump offs quick - look at the 1st vs 2nd half stats. A second question is if we are looking at the 2004 Brunell until 2007, is it worth greening Campbell before the ages of our key players means a rebuild?

No. The last thing we need is to bring in a QB who has never taken a snap in the NFL. Come on guys..it's ONE GAME. I can't believe we're calling for a QB change, front office changes, cuts, etc. etc. after one game..we were 5-6 last year..5-6..that'a a bigger hole than 0-1 right?

No. Brunell wasn't a problem at all during the game. Look elsewhere.

Blows my mind that anyone can characterize Brunell's performance as "awful." Sorry, it's just tiresome at this point. His throws were sharp for the most part, his mobility saved a lot of sacks, no turnovers, etc. The offense just needs to gel, especially in the Red Zone. Enough already!!

I am closing this thread and reminding all of us that not every opinion is worthy of a separate thread. It clutters the board and cuts down the enjoyment for everyone.
