View Full Version : What to do with Cadillac...
anyone have ANY positive thoughts on this guy? He's killing me right now and i'm considering trying to dump him while he still has SOME value. He's not running well and his schedule is BRUTAL this season.

Value, really? I think he needs a rebound game before you'll get anything decent for him. Someone would have to be a sucka to give up anyone for him after the way they've played so far.

Agreed. He needs to have a good game before you can get any value.
I steered clear of Caddy this year, due to
1. Chris Simms is his QB
2. Their schedule is really tough
3. Durability concerns
4. Chris Simms is his QB

Simms is the problem. They can't establish a passing game, so they put all their guys in the box and Caddy's got no where to go. Take what you can get for him at this point fent, cause its not gonna be pretty down the stretch, esp. if Simms can't get something going with the passing game.
so i was able to end up getting something for him. i moved McNair, Cadillac, and Chambers for Rivers, Westbrook, Rhodes, and Jackson. before the QB questions come in, i have Palmer as my primary QB. Westbrook's knee worries me a bit, but if i can get a couple good games against San Fran and Green Bay, then he's a LOT more moveable than Cadillac was/is. now my roster is as follows
Palmer, Rivers
Westbrook, T. Jones, Rhodes, M. Bell, M. Pittman (who i no longer need to handcuff)
S. Smith, Jackson, Horn, Clayton, Jennings
Gonzalez, Putzier (just to get through the bye week)
Bears
Reed

Really, except for last year, RBs have never produced under Gruden. I'm still suspect of him. Maybe you can trade him to a dolt in your league, lol.

I agree with Gus! If you get a bag of peanut shells and a back massage from an overweight gal named Bruce, I'd take it and run.
:D

No back rub???
so the trade worked out in the first week...58 points for my two newbies, 19 for my old guys.

that on top of the unfortunate Chris Simms surgery will really make for a long year for Cadillac Williams.
