Who would you start?
McNair - 324 33/60 2 TD 1 INT (@ Cleveland)
Kitna - 459 44/67 0 TD 0 INT (Vs Greenbay)
Plummer - 311 29/56 0 TD 4 INT (@ NE)
Ok, I know I'm not going to start Plummer. McNair and Kitna seems like a tough choice. Kitna has been solid and Martz likes to throw, but he hasn't hit a TD yet. McNair has been solid as well - less completions, less yards, 1 pick...but he's got a couple TDs. They both play weaker teams, but Cleveland is better than GB and the Ravens have to travel, while Detroit gets to stay at home. So, I'm leaning towards Kitna. Tell me what you think.
Thanks

McNair. Take everything out of the equation besides the players themselves and think about it from there and then start adding the circumstances.
You are comparing McNair to Kitna. Against two pretty bad defenses. It doesn't matter which defense is worse or who is coordinating who. Steve McNair is a former MVP.

I'd go with Kitna he has good numbers so far this year he just hasn't been able to get it in the endzone yet. That should change this week the Packers secondary is poo poo.

id go with kitna. the ravens will prolly blow out cleveland early, then stick with the run.
and kitna is bound to get a td or 4 against green bays defense

My Team is solid...I went strong at Rb. I had the number 1 pick, which was IMO one of the toughest spots, this year.(And I was saying that before I got stuck with it).
I'm 1-1, which I consider to be doing well considering I've lost D. Davis to IR and TJ Houshmandadada hasn't played, while Plummer has had two of the worst games of his life(and thats saying something).

Kitna. The only reason I say this is because I picked Detroit this week in my suicide league. :)

I wouldn't go McNair. 2 reasons.
1- Cleveland actually has a pretty stout pass D. #2 in the league last season I believe. Their rush D has been terrible. Unless that has completely flip flopped this season, that is the main reason.
2- Baltimore has killed Cleveland running the ball in the past. I would expect this to continue as they wear the Browns out as the Ravens D stiffles the Browns.
I am sure that since I have put this out there that McNair will have 300yds and 4 TDs, but that's my logic.

id go with kitna. the ravens offense hasnt been all that impressive thus far this season and like you said, the lions like to throw the ball. drew brees had 350 yards on GB's defense last week.

I'd lean toward Kitna as well. Even w/Woodson Green Bay's pass D is still pretty bad. Cleveland has a pretty good pass D, very underrated. Besides, as long as Mike Martz is offensive coordinator for Detroit, Kitna will pass until his arm falls off.

Looks like Kitna was the right play, which is who I started. But alas, it wasn't enough to win. Kinda pisses me off. I had a huge week, most points I've scored so far, with LT on a bye no less. But I lose because I'm up against a guy who has Hasselbeck and D. Jackson. Thats 7 TDs from 2 people, he was the top point scorer in my league this week...sigh...I hate it when my team plays very well and I'm consistantly in the top half of the league(or better) each and every week, but I'm somehow playing everyone on their "lucky" week when they go off for 120+ points.
Last week it was Baltimore's Defense, Duece McAllister and R. Longwell(Minnesota kicker who threw a TD in week 2...)
This week it was R. Gould(Chicago Kicker) M. Hasselbeck and D. Jackson
