Ok to let you all know up front I asked shally for approval before I created this thread/poll. So here we go.

Considering shally has been sporting the "my boy Blue" avatar for awhile now, how many of you think that shally may look just like Blue.

actually, akh and i were siamese twins separated at birth (joined at the head). he got all the brains and i got ? bubkas? (that's, nothing, for all you yiddish deprived folks)... so if you know what akh looks like, you got me...:lol1:

I voted yes he looks like blue. In fact, the character blue was based on Shally and Cranshaw is just one of a long line of Val Kilmers playing Jim Morrison, Will Smith's playing Ali, and Al Pacino playing Tony Montana.

I have to admit I was absent during the birth of the "my boy blue" reference birth, but when shally first joined up I thought he was a female (sorry), then I went to thinking he was a guy about my age. Now I finally click on your profile link and you are 59, I have been living in the dark lol.

For example, I think Akh is more an entity than a person...kinda like the black cloud from Lost. (Actually I might have seen a picture of him in one of the draft party threads..but I can't remember..)
As for you, I have no idea why, but I imagine you as a skinner Jack Black..maybe it's because you play the guitar (that's you isn't it??)..
And I don't think shally looks like Blue in real life...I picture him a bit more sofisticated..with the whole jazz thing going..but his 40 posts a day kinda scare me..mmhhh...
