ok hall looked good, but other then that, we still cant cover kicks or punts and we cant block well for kicks or punts either. thank god morton can make something out of nothing or else we well always get nothing. is it stock or is it the players? its very frustrating to see tems get great returns but we are always fair catching or getting to the 22 yard after a kickoff. barker wasnt bad but he is inconsistent. it looks like brent bart may be on the way out. hopefully leaverton can push barker or take over.

We still have the same problems we had last year.No one blocks on returns whether its the system or the players i'm not sure. And we still don't have a punter. It's not like we couldn't have darfted one with the last pick and got Hamdan after the draft.

Yes indeed our return teams absolutly suck. The blocking schemes are all off base. I don't know what the problem is. Something is deffinantly not right.

The players on ST's right now are porobably not even the players who will be doing it during the regular season. We should not judge the the ST's until the 4th preseason game or possibly week one.

Starters hardly play any of the fourth preseason game. A lot don't even suit up. The third might tell us, but I'd wait until the regular season.

By week one it'll be too late if there is something wrong. I guess it's too late to get rid of Stock this year. Let's hope they get it together... if not, we need to get rid of Stock after this year.

Don't judge the Special Teams yet. The starting unit won't play until the last PS game and MAYBE not even then. Until the final cuts are made, this unit is always made up of "potenial" players (or players on the bubble). ........... I sure would like to see Hall put some more air under his kickoffs though.

I think our starting STers should be getting all of the practice they can. I don't want another year like last year.

Same old same old. Fire Stock now while there are two weeks to get someone else in.

Robert is right on...

Right now, we have a bunch of ST players trying to impress for the last roster spot. They are all going for the "knock out tackle" instead of covering as a team.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves and start worrying yet!

Still, it did happen to us last year during the regular season as well....

Hehe well if there are some guys trying to impress..well looks like they are not doing a good job of it...pink slips are coming for those guys.

Special Teams will make the difference in 3 games this year.
That said - firing Mike Stock now will not solve the problem.
My guess is that his job is already on the line and he knows it - Heaven forbid a ST nightmare from opening day on and he could be axed as early as the 3rd - 4th game, IMHO. While individual efforts are the keyword of the ST players in pre-season there is a definite need for the Coach to nail down a team effort a.s.a.p.
