Just wanted some other opinions on this guy. I think he has superstar potential. He's fast, strong , and very smart. I like his hunger too. I hope he makes the team and see's alot of PT. What do you guys think?

I like Jackson alot. I'd love to see him bounce back from his knee injury and make the team. Which I think he will.

Jackson is good. He seems as though he hasn't missed a beat. I'm sure he will be on the field in pass situations. The kid just doesn't give up. Even though he is a little undersized, he just sneaks in and I don't think the QB even has him on the radar.

I think Jackson could turn out and become a real "sleeper" in the league.... Most 'Skins fans knew about him a year ago, but he might sneak up on the rest of the league.... I was quite ecstatic with Jackson's play on Saturday.... Hopefully, he can continue (the play) in the regular season.

We need him to be one of those break out guys. 10 sacks from him would be big time helpful!

Reminds me of N.D. Kalu and Jason Taylor (Dolphins). "Undersized" but with a high motor. What I like most about him is HE (UNLIKE SOME OF OUR PLAYERS) DOESN'T STOP UNTIL THE WISTLE IS BLOWN. He makes tackles (if you notice) once the RB is 10 yards past the line of scrimage. He catches them from behind and makes the tackle, usually, assisted by a LB or a DB. How's that for hustle??

If we can trade for a good DT and Jackson steps up to be a surprise stud DE this season, our defensive line won't be half-bad.
I just hate having two "ifs" in there.

Yeah, Jackson reminds me of Kalu as well. I hope we keep him here.

Actually That's Bernard Jackson that got hurt. LaDairus is fine and healthy...I'd love to see take Jevon Kearse's nickname away. "the FREAK" will be right here in D.C.

I LIKE the kid's motor and he plays with alot of excitement. Problem is LaDairus Jackson is listed at 6'2" / 260. Now if he could just put on 40lbs and move over into the DT spot that would be great. .............. Bernard Jackson is 6'4" / 301 but I haven't been impressed with him as much a LaDairus (he does remind me of Kalu too).

I was impressed with what I saw from him last season during the pre season and then he didn't do much during the regular season. Maybe he just looks good against 3rd stringers

I believe CarMike means the injury that LaDarius suffered last preseason.

Sorry CarMike..my mistake. I'm hoping he developes into a serious pass rush threat. We haven't had a threat like that since Dexter Manley.

I have heard people say that he reminds them of Kenard Lang, but when I see him play I see more N.D. Kalu than anyone else. I don't think he can stop the run as well as Lang did here in D.C. Remember when he had 100+ tackles one year when they kept splitting him between DEnd and DTackle? I love Jackson's motor, much like Kalu has now in Philly.

Yes. Jackson is weak ont he run and is much more liek Kalu. You want him in on passing downs.

I remember that Ladairis gave Samuels fits in training camp last year on speed alone. Hope his knee holds up.

here is a thought, put ladarius with chase in the middle much like we did with lang. maybe able to get past the inside olineman and cause some havoc in the backfield, which would improve his skills against the run??? Cause if he can just slow down the runner, we have pretty decent lbs to finish the job.just a quick thought,

which is not a good sign, as if he is tackling the guy 10 past the line, he will be out there doing it all day. We need guys to catch and tackle these guys 3 yards deep once in a while.
As far as his hustle.. great, I just wish he didn't have to so much :D

Whoever said that Ladairis Jackson reminds them of Kenard Lang must be confused on who Kenard Lang really is. Lang was so good at DE that Marty moved him to DT, where he is better off IMO. Jackson is much faster than Lang ever thought about being. Jackson would be 1/4 mile ahead of Lang in the 1/4 mile.
Jackson is all about speed and Lang is all about......well, something else.
Jackson is alot closer to Kalu.
