Quick note, the remainder of our schedule is not as easy as it looks. Our opponents combined record is 31-20, featuring 2 winless teams and 6 games against teams with 1 loss or fewer.

I guess I have us going 8-8 this year, maybe 9-7, but that's wishful thinking.

anything could happen between now and any of those games, what if Manning gets hurt or there are so many things that could effect it all. we have 11 games left to make the playoffs and that is what matters

We're going to win the next 2 games. Believe that.

revising my estimate... this is an 8-8 team as it is composed now and using the players who are on the field most of the time now...

If things don't turn around defensively this is how I see it:
Tennessee Win
@ Indianapolis Loss, we have too little a chance against this team.
Dallas WIn will split the series
@ Philadelphia Loss
@ Tampa Bay Win
Carolina Loss
Atlanta Loss
Philadelphia Win
@ New Orleans Toss up
@ St. Louis Win
New York Win
8-8 :(

I'll believe we're going to win the next one. Do you have any idea how long it's been since we've beaten a playoff team on the road in the regular season?

Same as last week......... 8-8
Gotta beat Indy at home and make a statement for the season, but I dont think they can or will.

I love being a Redskin Fan! After being humiliated yesterday, our consensus picks leave us at 11-5!
I'd rip into the usual suspects (Brunell is always #1 for me) and bemoan that I don't think we will even finish at .500, but after last year's stretch run, I'm gonna hold my tongue for a few more games.

Our last 7 games could all be wins and I think that they will all be must wins for us to finish 10-6 and have a shot at the playoffs

If we just run the ball, Indy can't stop us. They, like all Polian built teams, are plenty flashy but cannot take smashmouth football.

Problem is that we cannot take smashmouth football ourselves, nor seem committed to it on offense.

This week we're back to 9-7...I think we can win 7 of our remaining games if we play with some sort of consistency each and every week

:inkston: The biggest problem with our team is that consistency doesn't seem to enter into the equation. We didn't even do the things we do well last week, like RUN, SCREENS, the bread and butter of the two victories. And the secondary please. I really thought they had a chance to win most of the games left, just can't see us beating Indy, but they have got to do something to get back in the end zone for alas it seems the defense can't stop anybody right now!

I voted that we'd win only one, the Gnats game in December. 1) Because I don't care for threads like this after such a garbage loss (I'm not the cheeriest person in the world after such a rotten egg) and 2) Because all I care about is focusing on the Titans.

How are people still so optimistic after getting run over by a division opponent? At this point we still think we're going 12-4...

for the time being maybe we should change this to the "Which ones will we lose?" poll.
Sorry, I'm usually the last one to get down on the team and I still expect a good season and a great turnaround, but I cannot believe we have layed such an egg in the Dirty Jers two years in a row.

I don't know what games we win or lose but I do know that one more division loss and there will be no postseason. Ditto for two more conference losses. I would trade the thrilling win over Jacksonville for that Minnesota game. I would trade both wins we have for the win at either Dallas or New Jersey.
The situation shouldn't be so dire at 2-3 but when your only two wins are out of conference, it is pretty bleak.

I wouldn't. That was the day of the tailgate. That was just about a perfect day and you don't get many of those in life. Good friends, good times and a great game. Nope. Wouldn't change it.

13-3 ***ches! We're going to win out and I'll be there to laugh at you all and ridicule you and then steal your girlfriends. Ha!

Shally this team will finish better than 8-8. The giants needed this win real bad.

Well, I'm just talking in the sense for the team, not in the context of the whole day. We can lose every game the rest of the year and I'll still be tailgating and having fun with my friends. I've been doing it much too long now to stop because of one bad season. :)

That's all it takes to win, to "need it real bad"? Guess we've got it made!

this was a joke for shally......i said at the start of the season the skins would be 8-8 or 9-7. I still think that, they need a year in this new system.

I was conservative in my picks.
Dallas
Tampa
Atlanta
Philly
New York
That would give us a 7-9 record, I hope I am wrong. :banghead:
