A very good article on the Senator.
I love it when a candidate tries to gain a party's nomination by running against the core philosophies of the party itself and painting the opponents as extremists. According to Joe, Senator Kerry is "ambivalent" towards the war and Governor Dean is "unelectable" for opposing it outright. Does that mean that the Senator supports the War in Iraq, and therefore, President Bush? According to the Post it does:
His centrist ideas of supporting Bush on Iraq and shying away from the costly health care proposals offered up by the other candidates might be prudent general election positions, but they are generating little excitement in the primary
This is a good article that should be read in its entirety. He sounds like a democrat I can support at first glance, if we didn't already have a President with the same goals and beliefs.
