You get the win, and now you want to be some whining !@%!. This is a joke! Plus teams always play mad when they're losing. Especially when they should be winning!

I don't know about the rest, but that thing about the qb kneel was actually pretty sad. Maybe our players could have showed some fire a bit earlier than that. It's pathetic to keep talking when the other team is kneeling down and the game is already lost.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty ridiculous myself for them to keep on going at each other at the kneel down because they had already lost. I just assumed the Giants were taunting our team.

That's exactly how I feel. Where was that fire SIXTY MINUTES EARLIER?? It seemed like the actions of losers to me, which is exactly how the bulk of that defense is playing.

I wonder if the Giants said anything to them about missing Arrington?
Either way,it was bush league.

Set your DVR for the matchup and the end of the year, because I get the feeling Taylor may put Jacobs in intensive care. That dude is just too big of a target to miss.

Remember, this is Brandon Jacobs....

first of all I don't believe Gibbs is classless. Second of all I coach Rugby and as a player and a coach I am known as one of the dirtiest players and coaches out there, so all I have to say is good I hope they play dirty. Football is not a gentlemens game so who cares, Rugby is believe it or not. :sfight:

The Redskins had plenty of bulletin board material and still got gimped this week. It really is gut check time in Ashburn. They need the next two then have to come back and send a message against Dallass after the bye.

at this point i do not see that happening with the same old, same old.. win one, lose one... that adds up to 8-8 if we are lucky

I can't recall any other teams saying the Skins were dirty aside from the incidents involving S. Taylor.

A little bit off topic but how many friggen Giants players does it take to celebrate a sack by doing jumpshots, before they get a personal foul for excessive celebration? I guarantee we would have been penalized for that crap.

Hmmm...not to be a party pooper...but why must we hear every year that Taylor is being a jerk? I thought he would settle down with age...

I only listened to the game yesterday, I did not watch, was it as bad as all they are saying?

I thought orchestrated celebrations involving more than one person are illegal. Isn't that the rule? They said with Moss that another player did a similar pose to Moss and that's why the Skins were flagged. What about four players pretending to play basketball, which looked completely ridiculous (I don't get the point of that at all)? Selective enforcement by the NFL I guess.

If this was really going on so excessively like brandon jacobs says, the refs would have notice something after a while. This is complete BS, joe gibbs would not put up with it. Calling Joe Gibbs dirty should be all this team needs for motivation to destroy the rest of this league, or atleast play with some damn heart.

Which part? The dirty players or the orchestrated celebration? I really want someone to explain to me why the Giants got away with that yesterday.

Sorry, I was referring to the "dirty play" by the Redskins.

I didn't take offense. I was just asking. It really bothered me what the Giants got away with after the sacks and then Caughlin's stupid face after that taunting penalty was enough to put me over the top.

I know, I was just clarifying which of the two I was talking about.

I also thought the Giants lame celebration should have been a penalty. If it's in the rule books, enforce it. Don't just "play it by ear" from week to week.

However, if we didn't want them to celebrate sacks, we (i.e. Samuels and Jansen) should have kept them in front of us.

Jacobs did have one good line though. In the midst of his whining and complaining, he actually said he respected Taylor and that the NFL "needs more safeties like him."

Then he commented our Taylor's hitting ability and said "He throws his body like he has a spare one in the closet."

LOL - good stuff.

For a guy that big, Brandon Jacobs sure is a whiner.

i like that Brandon Jacobs, he's huge and he was killing us out there. he ran over Marcus Washington at least once. i'm sorry he mouthed off, and i hope he's wrong, because that would be embarrassing to be exposed as dirty in a thorough defeat like that. i kept thinking Duckett could play similar. but oh yea....Rock has to return kicks.

Taylor might not make many probowls because he will not be too popular, although other teams might eventually respect his athletic ability and aggressiveness. if they asked themselves, "would i want this guy on my team?" i think most would say yea.

next time will be payback in our home game against them.

Nothing appeared out of the ordinary. Taylor and Jacobs were talking trash after every collision they were both involved in (Jacobs got the best of ST on most of them btw).

What ticked me off (more than the loss) was the classless actions of Marcus Washington and a few others while the Giants were kneeling down letting the clock run out.

Just the fact that they called Joe classless is more than any reason to kick some butt next time, hope they are looking forward to the next game I sure as heck know I will

Everyone who matters in the league knows Joe has class. I just wish he'd put a stop to the crap that comes at the end of every loss when the other team is killing the clock.

MW played like crap yesterday but I think he was sick as some have said they saw him throwing up and stuff so that may have something to do with it...But I love this quote about ST: "He throws his whole body out there like he's got another one in the closet," Jacobs said. "I don't see myself taking one of those hits. I respect his game. The NFL needs safeties like him, the way he hits, it sets the tone. Me, myself, I'm not going to allow the tone to get set by him hitting me like that."
